Sep 4th 2010 7:09PM "I'd much rather see the retribution paladin tree get another pass than for there to be three pages of blue posts on racials."
I'd much rather see something cool done with racials than yet more QQ about how retadins will require more than just facerolling just to be on par, not to mention OP.
Aug 14th 2010 11:25AM Matt, it sounds like you must have been a Tauren in a previous life.
Jul 20th 2010 12:32PM I play on an RP realm, but I didn't join it because I wanted to RP. I joined because it was a low population realm, and because I hate PVP of any kind.
Now, if there was some sort of tangible reward for RP, I would actually try it. But since there isn't, I'd rather spend my limited gaming time doing something "productive", like collecting emblems, earning gold through my professions, getting personal achievements, etc.
I've also seen the quality of RP on my realm, and I was not impressed. When the players have such bad typos and grammatical errors, it's hard to take anything they say seriously. I mean, they sound like 2nd grade dropouts, to be frank. Kinda impossible to get in character that way, at least for me.
Jul 3rd 2010 11:01AM "The idea is that a tank should never be able to get so far ahead on threat that they can AFK for the rest of the fight."
The thing is that sometimes we have to let go of our resource-consuming moves in order to conserve our resources (rage or mana). If we keep on burning our resource to keep up our threat, we'll have nothing left for the next mob of enemies. Strategically, we watch Omen3 to see how far ahead on threat we got, and then estimate if the DPS will be able to kill the bad guys before they overtake us in aggro. How will we be able to generate aggro on the next bunch of enemies if we spent all of our resources trying to keep aggro on the last bunch?
Jun 26th 2010 12:07PM The Raven Lord mount has eluded me for months. Hope is waning.
Jun 25th 2010 11:50AM That's great news! I was already planning on making a goblin alchemist/JC, so this sounds awesome!
Jun 23rd 2010 12:04PM It ought to be noted that if a charter signer quits before the guild is registered, their signature is lost. If you are paying strangers to sign your charter, you might want to let them know that they will be paid after the guild is formed. Maybe mailed the gold. Otherwise they can just take your gold and run, and you'll still need that sig that they previously gave you.
Jun 19th 2010 11:07AM "Then one day that level 15 gnome rogue you rolled two years ago on a whim starts to call your name. She's got pink pig-tails and the cutest little laugh."
I switched from my main feral tauren to an undead prot warrior, because that's what *real* men play.
Jun 14th 2010 11:06AM Only it's not just pixels, you're investing yourself mentally and emotionally in a romantic relationship that isn't with your RL partner. Some would say that's worse than physical cheating. So if you feel the need to stray like this, maybe that's a sign for you that things in RL need your attention more?
