Cataclysm Beta: New 31-point talent trees, spec bonuses and more {WoW}

Jul 14th 2010 10:44AM After rereading that first sentence I need to clarify that, no, I don't think wow.com and Blizzard are associated with each other. I'm just expressing my frustrations to the air.

Cataclysm Beta: New 31-point talent trees, spec bonuses and more {WoW}

Jul 14th 2010 10:40AM Dear Blizzard I know you won't read this, but I'll say it anyway. I realize this is beta but please just restate your comments in plural so that you can use "themselves" or "their" rather than using the clunky "himself\herself" and "his\her" all the time.
For instance, you could more adequately state for Warriors under Protection, "Shield wielding, stalwart protectors of themselves and their allies." Then you don't rely on himself\herself and you no longer make it sound like they use a giant shield to protect everyone.

Shifting Perspectives: The forest and the trees {WoW}

Apr 27th 2010 1:27PM I know this post is getting old so no one might see this, but on the 4\16 BlizzChat Developer Chat on Twitter they said the following, so does that mean we'll get a really cool Ancients form?
Q. Why are Restoration druids the only spec in the game not receiving a new spell?
A. Restoration druids are actually getting a fair bit. For one, Tree of Life is getting a whole new model (think Ancients of War) and will also “morph” some of your spells to do crazy things while in the form, such as cause Regrowth to be instant, or Lifebloom to apply two applications at once.

The Light and How to Swing It: The low level tank part 1 {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 1:50PM Gregg, just a brief editorial note. You started using the term aggro around the fifth or sixth paragraph without defining it. That could confuse a new person since before that point you were using the term threat and you don't indicate if they necessarily mean the same thing or not. I'm not sure the exact mechanics but I personally consider them to be different - threat defining how much a mob "hates" you (kept in a list somewhere back-end I would guess) and aggro being the state of holding the most threat (for instance if you are in a group and you are the first person to enter the aggro range of a mob you go to the top of the threat list until someone else does something to top you; thus, you "have aggro" and others are working towards that state or away from it).
Thanks

The OverAchiever: What Feats of Strength can you get now? {WoW}

Nov 3rd 2009 10:48AM LOL Sorry Allison, The Horseman's Reins is indeed real. I saw six people riding around in Dalaran on that mount on Halloween . Up until then I was almost skeptical myself. :)

(yes I know she was being facetious when she said it was a hoax as far as she is concerned)
