Patch 4.2: Firelands information features coming soon {WoW}

Apr 28th 2011 12:46PM I'm sure our priest can't wait to see what tier12 shoulders look like. He's way tired of us teasing him about having jars of Vick's Vapor Rub on his shoulders.

Apr 12th 2011 5:12PM Good point. I stand corrected on the math. (No one ever said people who play DKs were good at math).

Hmmm.... I still can't remember a time when the dps time wasn't 3 times that of healer's.

Apr 12th 2011 4:26PM I maintain there is not a queue time problem - or at least one that Blizzard can do anything about. There is a "dps is jealous of tank queue time" phenomenon, but I'm not convinced that's a problem.

This is a market driven issue and one that you can't control via the bribery of tanks. What's going to happen if dps queue time is 15 minutes? Tanks and healers will queue as dps and drive the dps queue time back up. What's going to happen when tanks who tank because of the goodie bag rewards get all the rewards? They're going to stop tanking unless you reward them with something new. You can't externally "fix" the situation.

I often see 8-12 minute queue time on my healer and 28-32 minute time on my dps. (Tank is always instant of course.) Hopefully, it isn't lost on anyone that this is the same 1:3 ration of healers to dps. In other words, the dps queue time will ALWAYS be roughly 3 times that of the healer queue time.

You're a dps and don't like it? You can... roll a tank or roll a healer. You're a tank/healer and want to play dps some day? Sorry, that's just the way it is - 30 minutes for a dps queue.

Mark my words, Call to Arms may change things for the very short term but long term it won't change anything in regards to dps queue times.

Nov 7th 2010 12:51AM "Mages are unique among ranged casters in two ways (we have no spirit-to-hit talents,"

2nd article in a row that he's whined about this and been factually incorrect.

Oct 30th 2010 6:23PM "Unlike every other ranged caster class, mages have no talent that converts spirit to hit and no hit-increasing talents of any kind."

"I declare the arguments may begin ... now! Remember: Namecalling is frowned upon unless you're arguing with a warlock."

Less QQ ignorant Mage. Warlocks have no spirit to hit talent either.

Patch 3.3 PTR: Patch notes updated {WoW}

Nov 4th 2009 12:59AM DKs are so popular because of two reasons (imo - unrelated to class ability):

A) you can skip 55 lvls when you start one
B) the name "Death Knight" sounds cool to people
