Dec 8th 2011 7:54PM I'm still confused by the Flash Freeze talent, tbh, and I feel like I'm missing something.
"Your Freezing Trap no longer has a cooldown, but only one target can be afflicted by it at a time."
But according to the spell tooltip on the MoP talent calculator, Freezing Trap can only affect one target -anyway-, and I haven't seen any skills or talents that suggest being able to spread it to more than one. Am I missing something here?
Dec 1st 2011 5:13PM I hate it. I hate it, hate it, hate it. It's a weakass copout in my eyes.
The Dragon Aspects were created to -protect Azeroth-. Not just protect Azeroth from Deathwing, or kill Deathwing. To -protect Azeroth-, and as far as I can tell, Azeroth is still here. The Aspects still have a job to do. This "we're punching out, good luck with your existence!" BS is weak, weak, weak.
Now, it's not them losing their powers that I have a problem with -- well, I do, but that's not the big thing. The big thing is the reasoning. It's out of thin air, it's completely unbelievable. I would have -much- preferred if their reasoning had gone more along the lines of, "Not even we can handle such power without risk of corruption." Because come on, they've seen it happen to two Aspects (three if you count Murozond). -That- I could believe. This?
This just infuriates me.
Nov 24th 2011 3:27PM During the beautiful preview videos of MoP at Blizzcon, I caught a glimpse of a jade panther in the foreground of a shot of Jade Forest. I'm willing to bet we'll be able to tame it.
And during the art panel, there was also a shot of an absolutely -gorgeous- tiger using the "riding tiger" model. Far more detailed, high res, and realistic than the tigers we currently have. Possibly a mount? But also possibly a beast for hunters to tame!
Nov 19th 2011 10:30AM I've already been through at least half a dozen horses. Apparently horses in Skyrim have the unfortunate combination of being stupid brave and being made of glass. I finally got tired of them exploding if they tripped over a moderately steep downward slope and got friendly with the "resurrect" console command.
I must say, the sight of a horse rolling and flopping its boneless way down a cliff is one of the creepier things I've ever seen in a video game. Kudos to the physics engine there.
Nov 6th 2011 10:51AM Honestly I think I'd be happy just seeing updated loot from bosses and quest rewards. I'm currently leveling a warrior through Outland and it's nothing but agi on my plate gear, as well as all the cloaks, rings, and necklaces, as far as the eye can see. :|
Oct 25th 2011 4:50PM Q4tQ:
Something that just occurred to me, considering the neutral status of starter Pandaren: How likely do you think it is that we will essentially be able to transfer non-BoA items and gold cross-faction without hitting a neutral AH? Like, your Alliance mails something to your level 1 Pandaren, who picks it up and then mails it to your Horde?
If you think this is unlikely, how might the issue of BoAs be handled? Will Pandaren just have to level without them until they choose their faction at the end of the starting zone? Will they just be unable to send outgoing mail?
I know this is a Magic 8 Ball question, but I'm really curious to hear what the folks at WoW Insider think!

Blizzard has said they want to bump up their schedule for releasing big patches and expacs, like releasing a new expansion once every year or year and a half, rather than every two years. Plus there was already a playable demo of MoP at Blizzcon this year which, I understand, wasn't true for Cata during its announcement year.
