Two Bosses Enter: Jan'alai vs. Corborus {WoW}

Aug 30th 2011 11:06AM Everyone seems to be forgettin Corborus has a trump card. His adds increase the damage someone takes by 25%. Either Jan'alai is goin to end up with the extra damage taken or his adds will and they'll die in a heartbeat. This fight easily goes to Corborus cause of that.

Arcane Brilliance: The state of the arcane mage {WoW}

Jun 11th 2011 4:45PM Oh you should have seen it before AM became a proc. It was a mana hog to do, but at 70 I always stole the buff and spammed the crud outta Missles. About the only thing that has ever come close to the sheer giddiness I got from that is stealin the Tectonic Plating buff that the Juggernauts have in the new Zandalari instances.

Arcane Brilliance: The state of the arcane mage {WoW}

Jun 11th 2011 4:35PM I love my Arcane Mage. I've had issues with playin my Mage for the longest time outside of pvp. Frost was always meh until recently, Fire has always been so bland that it left a bad taste in my mouth and Arcane use to be even more bland. However now its amazin. For the first time on any character I've had I feel completely in control of my damage. I'm not cryin and pleadin to the gods to just make somethin proc so I can actually do damage. I'm not starin at a screen waitin for my energy to regen so I can do somethin. I'm there, completely and utterly in control of my damage. If my dps is low it is completely my fault, when it is great that is my doing, not procs comin back to back to back.

Really the only thing I dislike about my Arcane Mage are all the people who can't get their heads out of their recounts and complain about how faceroll worthy Arcane is because most of our damage comes from one move. This has been less of an issue after I gave up tryin to argue logic with these people and simply ignored them.

Ask A Dev #7 Answers: Professions {WoW}

May 16th 2011 1:18PM Ya know...its not really all that important but I was mildly hopin someone would ask why Skinnin has such a godawful stat bonus attached to it compared to every other profession. Oh well

Know Your Lore: Update on current Horde politics {WoW}

Apr 18th 2011 2:43PM You can actually fish for the Catfish and buy the sugar from vendors.

The Daily Quest: Let me explain {WoW}

Mar 16th 2011 5:48PM I...I dont know what I just watched, but I do know I laughed so hard I nearly cried. Then I watched it again and I did laugh so hard I cried. Then I wathced it a third time. I'm up to four right now...I'm still laughin

Shifting Perspectives: Dispatch from the patch 4.1 PTR {WoW}

Mar 16th 2011 4:58PM Im a little late to the party, but I'm sad to notice that you mostly went meh at the 3 second swipe cd. At max level it makes very little difference, but you're completely forgettin about the poor lowbie bears that have to try and AE tank with a 6 second swipe and...demoralizin roar. A 3 second swipe will do wonders for bears tryin to actually tank at low levels, though theres still that minor issue of havin to go through 20ish levels to even get an AE attack...but baby steps!

Know Your Lore: Current Alliance politics -- the humans, part 2, page 2 {WoW}

Jun 19th 2010 9:31PM A piece of work from Knaack with a plothole? Say it aint so!

What's happening with those new race/class combos, anyway? {WoW}

May 15th 2010 8:38AM Troll druids are most likely goin to be loa priests more than druids. Every instance of a troll transformin into an animal is based off of that. The only reason they're even bein called druids is because it'd be pointless to call them loa priests when they'd be the only class in the game with that classification so they go with the nearest parallel, the druid.

Nice and clean right there.

Now...Worgen druids on the other hand hurt my brain too much to even comment on >.>

The Failure of Secrecy: The alpha, leaks, and the WoW community {WoW}

May 7th 2010 3:00PM You're right, a lot does change between Beta and final release. Is it anywhere near the magnitude of an Alpha build to a Beta? Of course not, because Beta is meant to actually polish stuff. Thats what its there for. Alpha is meant to test implementation. There is a massive difference between the two and there is an even larger difference in the outcry due to the state of which the product is in.
