Jun 21st 2010 7:25PM This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I've farmed for the pet for 2 years with no luck. I had high hopes that maybe this year I would finally get this pet.. Dangit.
Jun 8th 2010 12:49PM I admit it, I'm boring... I would just put my name... otherwise, if I put a title or something.. I would be kicking myself and thinking how outdated it was within a few months. LOL
May 25th 2010 7:58AM Silly me... woke up and hoped we magically had a restart instead of a down day.
May 13th 2010 3:48PM Nice concept... I hope they continue to work on it tho.. a LOT.
We need more CONTROL and personalization.
For instance, I may not want my real name out there.. as, let's be honest, we will use this tool with online friends as well. I would like for us to be able to pick how we wish to be shown in someone's list - Full Name, First Name Only, Nickname
Second.. We need to be able to set privacy controls per character. I may be fine with friends knowing my main character.. but NOT my private me-time alt.. or my bank toon. Or I may wish to let my bestest friend in the world know me on all toons... but my other friends only know certain ones..
Apr 19th 2010 11:56AM LOL Thank Heavens! I LOVE the noises he makes.. but they got annoying very fast. Hopefully they will fix him on a down day soon to where he only sounds off when clicked like the other pets.
The BEST thing about him tho.... He's a Train Wrecker! WOOT!
Apr 19th 2010 10:08AM This very situation is why many guilds now include in their rules that there will be Zero Tolerance of "Loot Guilting". This can, depending on the guild, include one person vocalizing repeatedly how much they want, need will just simply die if they don't get a piece of loot.. to where others feel guilty rolling against them. Simply because someone did not talk about wanting/needing the loot constantly does not mean they did not want it just as badly. It simply means they were more respectful in not being what we all know as a Loot *ahem* you know what. This person should not be forced to give up the fairly won item.. by guilt or any other means. Personally, if I found myself in their situation, I would more than likely DE the item in front of everyone involved, /gquit and consider myself lucky to be away from a bad situation.
Apr 17th 2010 1:35PM I'm perfectly find with Blizz selling these items which are more vanity and for fun. If we want them and willing to pay for them, great! If others don't wish to or can't afford them, it will not hinder their game in any way. That works for me.
If Blizzard gets the grand idea to sell GEAR... then we will have some *real* issues.
Apr 15th 2010 1:15PM One little quirk with it, which I hope Blizz will fix at some point in the future.. It does not automatically switch to flight from ground. For instance, if in Dalaran.. we can't simply run through the city..over to the Landing.. and take off. We have to dismount and mount again to take off.
Apr 15th 2010 1:06PM Bought.. and waiting over 10 minutes for delivery, so far. I'm starting to get paranoid. LOL
Apr 8th 2010 8:03AM I too see and absolutely KNOW that we will be now held responsible for "healing stupid" that can't manage to move correctly or get out of the ickies. It will be up to us to make sure that our raid leaders continue the mentality of that we shouldn't HAVE to save someone in those situations... and that they should be able to take care of themselves with proper situational awareness. I'm hoping, and assume, we will see situations built into fights to highlight proper usage for this.. where we have to do it as a mechanic and not as a "get OUT of that, Stupid!"
For pure FUN value tho... Ohhhhhhhh, I can't wait!! My tank partner is horrible about pulling the classic Bubble Hearth on me and then giggling. Now I can go *yank* "Oh NOooOOoo you don't!!"
