Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari preview now online {WoW}

Mar 25th 2011 9:13PM Hemet Nesingwary? In Stranglethorn (again)? I am intrigued, and happy to hear our favorite poacher has returned!

Two Bosses Enter: Ozruk and Asaad kick off Cataclysm season one {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2011 1:13AM @ Maymer
Mmm, no votes for who will win the championship, but I think the posion should be included as it is ingame, a distraction that gives Vanessa time to set up and leaves her opponets annoyed/worried/confused/pumped up depending on their tempermant, with the caveat that they make it out of the poision and are still physically able to fight.

Two Bosses Enter: Ozruk and Asaad kick off Cataclysm season one {WoW}

Mar 21st 2011 11:10PM "Ozruk is too big and slow too..."

I laughed very hard in real life. I can't tell you how many times this guy has run me down after a tank failed at Ground Slam, especially if you account for paralyze. Only reason I could see for him not using the safe zone is size; he may be to large.

Personally, I see Asaad opening up with chain lightning and static cling, only to have both reflected. Asaad panics, and starts to use Supremacy, only to be paralyzed as Ozruk bears down on him. Asaad's static cling (which has a DoT effect if I'm not mistaken) breaks paralyze, and Asaad sidesteps (or sidewhirlwinds?) the ensuing shatter. Asaad summons his star minnions, and successfully pins down Ozruk with static before Bulwark is put back up. Unfortunatly for Asaad, his stars promptly kill themselves on Bulwark, and Ozruk's bleed + melee will deal enough damage to counter Asaad's weak melee, even if he manages to get a few clings and CL bolts off. Ozruk will break Asaad upon his body as long as he reflects, interrupts, or dodges Supremacy, especially if Asaad gets lazy and is squished by Ground Slam or has too many spells reflected unto himself.

PTR Patch 4.1: New code hints at random dungeon change {WoW}

Mar 17th 2011 10:40PM Thanks for the reply ahsanali. Now that you mention it, I totally remeber hearing about that (haven't had time to hit the ptr this round), so I guess this means that the two tiers could remain split when it goes to live. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

PTR Patch 4.1: New code hints at random dungeon change {WoW}

Mar 17th 2011 9:17PM What I found intresting wasn't this change (although its an awesome win-win and will let me get my week's valor on the weekend!), but rather the "first seven random dungeons *of this tier*" line. Did I miss something? Are dungeons now getting grouped by tier? (So, say Halls of Stone/Lighting in one group, ToC in a second, and ICC heroics in a third if this was still wrath?)

Arcane Brilliance: The new and improved arcane tree in patch 4.1 {WoW}

Mar 13th 2011 5:21PM Or,...

What if they redesigned Arcane Barrage to fire multiple Barrages? So,
one target its the same spell but for 2, 3, 4 or more targets it sends
out multiple Barrages. It may need to split the damage between them,
and this kind of versatilty may not be acceptable, but I think it
would be kinda neat = ).

Best line ever lol. I also really liked your explaination

Mar 6th 2011 11:41PM Thats a good point,.. I'm suprised no one has brought that up yet. Now that you say that, nothing really sugests that Nozdormu is corrupt besides ominous quotes and that hourglass quest. As much as I love to speculate and think into this time travel nonsense I think that its perfectly possible he is just doing his job. In this way, I could see the hourglass quest being a simple sign that Nozdormu is fighting the Infinite leader and for some reason the Infinite leader is able to stay hidden. (I guess what I'm trying to say is that mabye the hourglass just didn't perform as expected, and revealed Nozdormu at work, not Nozdormu corrupting time and staging an attack with the Infinites).

Mar 6th 2011 11:34PM Regarding that last bit about losing the Nexus War,..

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Nexus War occured because Malygos, in his mild insanity following his more serious insanity, did not trust mortal magic users due to the decimation of the blue flight in the War of the Ancients. If, like you said, the blues were spared doesn't that mean Malygos would have never been driven into insanity by their decimation, never started the Nexus War and, if for some reason the war did occur, wouldn't most of the Scourge's frost wyrms sill be living blue dragons (thus weaking their forces if the Nexus War was fought and the Scourge still a menace like you said).

All in all, I agreed with what you said besides that last bit about the Nexus War, but I might be thinking to far into this...
