Oct 3rd 2011 11:48AM I want one, too, but it needs cheese. ;)
Sep 13th 2011 8:38AM I actually enjoyed Wolfheart, it was easily the least rambling of the WoW novels Knaak has penned! He either has learned to trim his prose down to bearable levels or he's found an editor that can do it for him. I thought it successfully wove multiple storylines through without being anywhere as drawn out as Stormrage was. You are getting better, Mr. Knaak, please keep it up!
Jun 8th 2011 12:36PM Chase, you are making me feel guilty that I didnt keep any flash powder or such items, although I still do have my tools and certificate of thievery in the bank and yes, I can make thistle tea.. :) I've had my rogue for a long time, but she is an alt and I didn't max-level her until Wrath. Everything I know of roguery has been read here, in EJ, in rogue blogs, but mostly taught to me by two very good rogues that are friends of mine in the game. I'm not a pvp fan, combat has always been my preferred spec, but I'm currently learning assassination as well since I got the mut dagger drop off Omnotron a few weeks ago. Assassination is coming slowly, I am collecting a second gear set since the secondary stat requirements are completely different for the two specs. I interrupt, I shiv, I tricks. I doubt I'd come up to your standard, but I'm okay with that. Being a main healer, being a rogue is a great relief from that stress and my rogue is awesome just the way she is. :)
May 20th 2011 9:24AM Hm, part of me is skeptical of your answer, but the situation I know of is not exactly parallel. Blizz does understand about kids growing up, the situation I know of was a child who'd shared the account with their parent, then turned 18 and wanted their own account.
They did have to purchase the new licenses, of course, but Blizz was quite willing to transfer the child's character to the new account once it was set up. In the case you are citing, the parent apparently does not play, and that is a different situation. Common sense would dictate they would change the account information to the actual player once the player comes of legal age, but common sense isn't, so I can see your response as well.
May 10th 2011 12:16PM That was AWESOME!!!! The music fit it perfectly, and yeah, it works in a very strange and entertaining fashion. =)
May 3rd 2011 9:05AM what a great argument panel, and the 'vicious attack kids' teeth job... ::giggle:: I imagine next the girls go into action, I can't wait! :)
Apr 12th 2011 2:53PM Yay, it's up! ::happy reading commences:: and as always, I love your art style!
Apr 12th 2011 1:41PM yeah, the newest is definitely not loaded, not sure what's up, but I sure hope we get to see it soon!
Apr 8th 2011 9:20AM Tone Deaf, I hope you find more understanding with this guild than you did in your first, that was just unforgiveable behavior on the part of your first guild! I have heard several instances of players with hearing loss finding ways to become valued members of their guilds' raid teams, and I have no doubt you, too, can find a way. I know WoW-Insider has at least a couple of articles about those players, perhaps you can search them out. I was curious, too, about using your computer speakers and a microphone and if you can hear well that way. That is the method I use, as I have a young child and I want to be able to hear her if she cries out after going to bed.
Best of luck to you in your raid endeavors!
Apr 5th 2011 2:45PM Kelly IS a Hordee, she makes no bones about it, but yeah, I admit that the perspective bothers me a bit too, although in fairness, she DID mention Southshore and the atrocities committed by the Forsaken. I played through that the southern Barrens Alliance-side on the beta, and I remember the Alliance commander saying he didnt' want to take out Taurajo, but it was a potentially threatening presence and as a good military commander, he simply could not ignore the potential threat. He even designed his attack so that the civilians would have escape channels, he says so himself, and the whole thing carries a very, "I had to do this as a part of my command, and I'll have to accept the guilt on my soul" attitude about it. There is absolutely no mention of deliberately waiting for the warriors to be out, so I rather doubt that was planned, it just happened to be the time of attack.
Now, I will admit to being primarily Alliance, although I do have several Horde toons as well. It doesn't bother me in the least to point out that unlike that Alliance commander, I doubt the Forsaken have any regret about what they've done in Hillsbrad to the civilian population there, and I have no idea how Garrosh and the Horde leadership can be 100% unaware of it.
However, above all else, Kelly is a WONDERFUL artist and storyteller and in spite of the understandable bias, I do enjoy her work BUNCHES!
