Officers' Quarters: Ready to abandon ship {WoW}

Jun 6th 2011 2:46PM If you've got a group of mostly tanks/healers, you've got the core of a new 10 man raiding guild right there. I'd say that if things aren't improving soon, you should all leave and start fresh. Some of the other players in your old guild might follow if they're more interested in successful raiding, and recruiting dps isn't super-easy but it's certainly easier than finding good healers or tanks.

Losing the guild perks sucks, but a handful of dedicated people can level a guild fairly quickly, especially if they're raiding. With 4.2, it'll be even easier to get a guild to 25, so it's not the hastle that it might feel like. And if you have members with the guild-specific recipies, you'll still have them in your new guild.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Protection glyphs, enchants and gems {WoW}

Apr 16th 2010 2:30PM In addition to the 225 armor to back, there's a BC LW pattern (Glove Reinforcement) that's 240 armor to hands that most of my guild's tanks have switched to instead of armsman. With all the hunters and rogues we bring, threat just isn't an issue in raids most of the time, and 10 parry is nothing.

Breakfast Topic: The Happy Accidents {WoW}

Dec 19th 2009 1:11PM I had two runs on consecutive days where the healer had Valanyr. Lemme tell you, that poor pally must have been bored out of his mind healing with that mace on an overgeared group in UK. The priest in Old Kingdom was bubbling the crap out of everyone, too. The proc rate on that thing must be pretty good.

Nov 20th 2009 4:11PM Re: DK's being hated - they're the new "huntard". And speaking as a hunter who knows how to play, I'm kinda happy to not be the most-disrespected class anymore. Sucks for you, tho.
