"* Shocking - GCD of Shock spells reduced to 1s. Speculation said that this would be useful even in WotLK. It just makes it so there's one second between Shocking and doing something else, rather than 1.5 (without haste, of course). Considering that Shocks are going to be a larger part of our rotation, this could be a huge time-saver. 0.5 seconds adds up when you think about using one shock every ~9 seconds in PVE. On a 5-minute fight, this saves you about 16 seconds, which is at least 8 more lightning bolts you could be tossing out. That's actually pretty significant in the long run."
While this is true initially or whilst leveling, once you're at the right haste levels, you GCD for all spells will naturally drop to the 1s minimum, completely devaluing this glyph.
The new glyphs and glyph system on the whole looks really good so far though :D
Aug 24th 2010 3:50AM I'm hoping that the awesome that is Rolling Thunder + Fulmination, isn't simply there to offset the clunky and awkward sounding Lava Surge.
Also, Speccing into +6yards of totem range over 15% movement speed? I don't think so. Even if it does mean my searing totem is a little on the short side.
I'm really looking forward to all the changes and testing it all out.
Aug 19th 2010 5:38AM Old Gods and The Burning Legion are related.
I'm pretty sure it was Whisperings of the Old Gods that drove Mr. Fallen Titan Champion, Sargeras, a little Loopy. Sure it is generally said that it was the constant fight against evil that get him all depressed, and that fighting the Nathrezim corrupted him in the end, but I don't doubt that the old gods have their hand in there somewhere.

Aug 3rd 2010 4:02PM That's my question also, How does your UI adjust to being in raid groups?
It appears to me that you have left a space between your player and target UFs on purpose to allow the grid panel to grow upwards and slot between them for raids. If that ios the case, then I'm sure you have also included some way of enlarging or reshaping the main UI panel to encompass the larger Grid grid.
Any chance we could see the UI in a raid environment?
Other than that, The UI looks awesome. Clean lines, well polished and integrated. Much as if that is how it's meant to look before all the UI modders got their hands on it.
(though if this really was the blizzard standard UI, we wouldn't see overmuch modding in the first place ;))
Thanks for sharing, Shikoba!
Jul 24th 2010 4:44AM Wednesdays are no Sylvanas wednesdays. Is your name Sylvanas? Then stay the F**k home..
Jul 10th 2010 8:30PM Even the shape of Azshara suggests Horde territory now. just tilt your head to the left when looking at that map if you don't believe me ;)
As far as goblins rabing the land. I believe there is a Tauren Shaman ( i think it's a shaman) NPC in Stonetalon mountains who forsees exactly that. It was meant to be.
Jul 10th 2010 5:40PM I agree completely, strafing is your friend.
Hunters at least have a reson for the trick so they can abuse disengage. We don't have the luxury of that, but the 180degree arc for casting and attacking means strafing works just fine.
