Cataclysm Beta: New level up UI video {WoW}

Jul 3rd 2010 6:06PM Ahh that's something i must have overlooked in the new features. I like it. I get so sick of having just dingd, getting into a random dungeon and then have every party member and their grandmother spamming me with rankwatch.

The new UI feature goes from one thumb up to two!

Cataclysm Beta: New level up UI video {WoW}

Jul 3rd 2010 4:36PM I could see that window getting fairly annoying for instances where you become elligable for a multitude of new skills/skill ranks.
Still a nice touch and I'm liking the UI changes i've seen so far.

Jun 30th 2010 7:00AM you have to remember that the elementals of azeroth once worshipped and revered the Old Gods before the titans came along and banished them. So it wouldn't suprise me if Elemental Lords like Neptulon had faceless ones stalking their halls.

Totem Talk: Power Auras for restoration {WoW}

Jun 23rd 2010 7:13AM currently i have power auras set up to watch my weapon buffs, alert me when my shield drops, show riptide cd and it's totemproc stacks, tidal waves proc, tidal force 'stacks', 2pc t10 proc, Mana tide totem availability, Nature's Swiftness CD and, best of all, an Earthshield watch with a stack remaining counter.

Know Your Lore: The Vrykul {WoW}

Jun 16th 2010 5:26PM Take into account that the curse of flesh could have affected the Vrykul in several different ways much like the Earthen who could 'mutate' into either Dwarves or Troggs.

I think that the curse of flesh could very well have destabalized the DNA (or Matrix as the Disks of Norgannon would no doubt call it) after it had already made them fleshy, thus leading to extremely rapid 'evolution' and the birth of humans to Vrykul parents.

Where are the slaves? Check the mirror. Those shiney exclamation marks are a sure sign your masters have work for you.

New issues with Adobe Flash, Google search links could compromise your account {WoW}

Jun 8th 2010 7:48AM It still baffles me to see people only get an authenticator AFTER they've had their account compromised and then restored... It sounds to me like sucking poison out of a snakebite victim after they're dead, a touch late.

Learn from the mistakes of the thousands of other players and get that aurthenticator before you get hacked. I swear I have no sympathy for those who have their account stolen without one anymore.

.....and sweep your PC regularly for viruses.

Breakfast Topic: Stockades, the anomaly {WoW}

May 26th 2010 8:15AM The probelm comes from the dungeons being designed before the idea of the LFDungeon tool was implimented or even realised. So what we've got is access but not necessarily reward. I'd say a revamp of loottables or some kind of quest allowance, for both sides and all dungeons that don't already have them, should be put in just to make the grind seem less grind for grind's sake. Love a bit of lore.

That said, compare Stockades to RFC or pretty much any other dungeon in vanilla; It is woefully short. Like is was put in to have a group steamroll it just for the buckets of cloth the mobs drop, and I'm sure that is why the place is so devoid of boss loot. So for several years, levelling alliance players have had the bum deal.

(I'm not bitter at all)
