Mists of Pandaria Beta: Male pandaren hairstyles gallery {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 11:47PM No, they just didn't change it for these hair photos. For the facial hair gallery, see http://wow.joystiq.com/2012/03/29/mists-of-pandaria-beta-male-pandaren-facial-hair-gallery/

Mar 30th 2012 2:24PM @Luotian, so you're insulted by someone sharing an opinion that differs than yours. And you have to play the "you insulted my father!" card too? How about just letting your opinion rest on its own merits, hmm?

Mar 30th 2012 2:02PM So immersion is an excuse, now? Or could it be that different people look for different things from their WoW experience?

Mar 30th 2012 1:58PM My guess? It's almost guaranteed. I mean, even if only half as many Pandaren get created on Alliance and on Horde, as the number of the currently most popular race, they'd be tied for first place.

Also, it seems almost certain that a majority of the player-base will make at least one Pandaren, so...

Mar 30th 2012 1:54PM "How big is the Pandaren model compared to existing characters?

Pandaren are taller than orcs and shorter than tauren."

OK... any reference points for us Alliance players? How do they compare to Draenei and Night Elves?

Mar 30th 2012 1:39PM Well, that's kind of the point, Luotian. This smacks of dumbing down the game, to cater to the players who can't be bothered to really play the game.

Now, I realize there are plenty of players who don't read quest text. That's their choice. But to design an RPG around these people has the effect of changing the game for the worse, making it even less of an RPG, for the sake of the wrong part of the playerbase.

At least, that's how I see it.

Mar 29th 2012 11:30AM For a second there, I thought you meant "take a dirt nap", which of course is a euphemism for death. Couldn't figure out why you were so mean! ;)

Oct 14th 2011 1:59PM @Jamie Yes, the web-based Armory now just has static poses based upon race, class, and weapon(s) equipped (all of those things determine what the pose is). Some of them are obviously part of a casting or attack animation. Other poses don't seem to have any corollary to _any_ in-game animation or pose (see male Dwarf Hunter, for example).

I think they said they would like to add the ability for us to choose the poses for our characters "later", but I'm starting to doubt that will ever happen.

WoW Moviewatch: The Captain's Wife's Lament {WoW}

Oct 11th 2011 1:21PM Perhaps. I didn't intend to insult anyone who likes it, but I see how it would come across that way.
