Oct 21st 2011 8:21PM In 2 years we will all point to this day as the day WoW jumped the panda.
Oct 12th 2011 11:53PM @raingod: That 'millions of players' thing is just a poor excuse. While WoW may have millions of players, there are only a couple hundred thousand on each server. Only 10s of thousands (or less) are online at any given time, and only half of those are of a particular faction. The player content would be instances anyways, and only 10-25 people would be playing it at a time.
So do you care to explain why it wouldn't work with 'millions' of players, other than just because it wouldn't? What about the other MMOs at had millions of players but somehow managed to make player created content work?
Oct 23rd 2010 11:05PM Except well..it's not inaccurate. They didn't say 'before The Sundering' as in that specific event, they said 'before the sundering' and their certainly is a lot of sundering going on, whether it's The Sundering or not. Sundering's a funny word anyways. Sunder.
Oct 12th 2010 7:10PM While I am sure they do, I would hope that Blizzard has better business processes and customer relations that your neighborhood crack dealer.

Well one things for sure, saying the realms will be up at 5PM and having the realms be up at 5PM will ALWAYS be better than saying the realms will be at at 12PM and having the realms be up at 5PM.
And honestly, you really think people are going to complain if they say the realms will be up at 5PM and they are up at 2PM? I am sure there would be people who do it just because they can, but a much, much larger portion of people would more satisfied than how they currently do it, the other way around.
That's like saying you are going to get people who complain because they get new talents, so we might as well not do it. People complaining is really not a valid reason to do anything. They should do it because they should strive to give people accurate expectations.
Oct 12th 2010 6:00PM @People above me.
His post doesn't say anything about stat conversions on gear, those are likely handled differently. This is simple about stat conversions on gems.
It is likely some of the half/half gyms that have defense will be dodge, some will be parry, depending on the color combination, so there is an equal amount of dodge/parry patterns instead of an influx of dodge.
Oct 12th 2010 11:15AM Is there a rule at WowInsider that says each post HAS to have an image? Beause honsetly I would rather not have any imahe that see another of Mathew's poorly shopped Deathwing images.
Oct 8th 2010 12:25PM It kind of bothers me that you spent 5 paragraphs bashing on FFXIV only to have a small paragraph that vaguely connects it to your point. Instead of going so hard about what DOESN"T feel epic in FFXIV (which is not your question or your point) you should have explained what DOES feel epic to you in WOW (which is your question).
Honestly, I think you will be biased against it anyways, but you kind of got way off topic. This post should have been titled "What I don't like about FFXIV" and you should have thrown it up on Massively.
Oct 6th 2010 9:41PM I think it has less to do about running multiple guilds, and more to do about running multiple events. They want everyone to be able to play together, which they can do with multiple guilds as long as they are the same faction.
Feb 20th 2010 3:53PM Good luck with getting flash on your iPad. Sadly unless they have an alt version you won't be able to see the digital mag at all.
