Apr 4th 2012 6:56AM Wow. That's a LOT of folk from Canuckistan…
(I joke, I'd love to go back travel through Canada. Being Irish and a trained barman and IT tech I'd be guaranteed temp work for Travelling!)
Mar 24th 2012 4:48AM Jhellman10 Why?
Does an article you can easily skip annoy you somehow?
Does the thought of other people enjoying something sit wrong with you?
I bet you're the kind of person who sits in a random pug screaming "GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOO" and wipes everyone and complains they don't have tier gear.
Did Phat Loot Phriday kill your puppy or something?
If it didn't, and I've a feeling it didn't, either skip the article or learn to lighten up a bit.
Not every article here is for entertaining everyone. For instance, I don't have a warlock or Mage, so I don't read those columns. I skip the pally columns for tanking and healing.
And my day is easier for it, I don't have to comment on things that have no bearing on me.
Mar 23rd 2012 3:30AM @loop_not_defined: Could be worse. Could be Medan taking over. Then we're all screwed…
The ShamPalaMage in charge…
Mar 19th 2012 3:47PM Seriously?
This comes off as "Whaaaaaaa!!!! I'm not a special little snowflake!!!"
Did you cry when Ghostcrawler didn't give you a moose too?
The programmers spent time on a cool system and you don't want anyone but 1/11th of the game to use it?
That's like taking the flying mount system away because Druids can fly.
Are you the 1%?
Mar 14th 2012 1:42PM @Knob: Balloons tend to used by Goblins anyway. So expecting rockets isn't far fetched…
Mar 13th 2012 6:26AM @Warpknight:
The scene: Deep in the laberinthine bowels of AOL Web Design Central.
The Players: Some web designers and an AOL manager.
The time: Many Years from now.
Aol Manager: "Hey, I hear Blizzard finally released the Dance Studio for WoW"
Designer 1: "What? Really?"
Designer 2: "Hmm. That could be… problematic"
Designer 3: "Well, we did promise it."
Manager: "What are you three loons on about?"
Designer 1: "We speak of an ancient pact."
Designer 2: "A burden of ageless turmoil."
Designer 3: "Updating the WoW Insider Comment system."
Manager: "Can you do Joystiq first? It's been 20 minutes since their last improvement. The trolls there are getting antsy…"
Mar 3rd 2012 4:16AM One for Enhancement Shaman.
Glyph of Bungee Totems.
Your totems are tied to you so that you don't have to dismiss / re-summon them.
Using this glyph locks out your new re positioning spell.
Glyph of quick spec shift.
Allows you to change specs instantly with full mana / energy. Has 2 hour cool down.
This isn't a glyph but a way to fix tabards: change tabards to useable spells like mounts, add a section to the character panel to change them like titles. Easier to track, makes the expensive guild ones a mini-gold sink.
Mar 2nd 2012 5:32PM Why?
Does reading about 2 minutes worth of fun and funny fluff make you late for something each and every time?
If all you want ate item stats and where they drop, instead of a fun bit of story, might I suggest www.wowhead.com ?
Mar 2nd 2012 3:22AM I just hope that the hit cap for all Dual Weilding classes is brought down as a result. Currently, enhance shamen, dw frost DK's and others go for the spell hit cap. The melee hit cap is just far too high without gimping other stats.
Mar 1st 2012 4:47AM @Rev : yeah. 230 jobs from Cork is one massive chunk from an already hard hit area. All of cork is GM and account work for all euro languages. I work in another multinational in Cork, that has languages too, traditionally it's German and French teams see the most turnover as people come over, work for 12-18 months and go home. English speakers, including eastern European nationals and African nationals, and native Irish tend to stick around longer.
But 230 people won't just be all French & Germans. Lot of people will be affected by this, not just who're let go.
Ireland already has a high rate of mortgage repossessions and growing poverty. This won't help in the slightest I'm afraid…
