Mar 12th 2010 7:43AM Most finnish speak english in PUGs but this might be useful if they don't care that someone in party can't understand. An yeah we use our own finnish WoW slang. I translate some to that slang, the above is more like literal written finnish.

* Stop = Pysähdy.
* I'll heal. = Hiilaan or hiilin.
* Need heals! = Hiilaa!
* Need = Needi, needaa and needata (to need something).
* Greed = Greedi, greedaa and greedata (to greed something).
* Need on items you want for any reason. = Needaa jos tarviit.
Healer = hiilu.

Feb 13th 2010 8:31AM I'm only doing heroics with my warrior so is it correct that I need only 6% hit? Or should I still go for 8%? If I'm reading right WoWWiki's article 6% would be ok. I'd like a confirmation did I understand it right/or missed something.
I'm using Cleave as a rage dump and as aoe when there are many mobs I can hit with it (with Improved Cleave). Love when it crits over 10k.
Feb 6th 2010 6:18AM Arms next, can't wait! How to make my little undead more deadly. :) Also I'm so waiting for the next guides about gemming etc.
And about fury after reading this I now have one more reason to say for those who ask "Why you're not specced fury, it has better dps" (and it really doesn't matter when you're not raiding). It jus isn't my playstyle, I play for what is fun for me not to dps the most (of warriors). I really hadn't read much about fury before, so thanks for this guide. :)
Jan 13th 2010 9:22AM It's right for them to die and be kicked out for not learning anything.
Really. Not all of us arms warriors go crazy because we have Bladestorm and we like to tear things with it. I wait a moment for tank to build threath, charge in, hit my bleeds on the boss, Rend and Mortal Strike and only then I hit Bladestorm. Usually at this moment I'm very low on threath meters so it's safe to go nuts for a moment. If for some reason tank hasn't build enough threath, I'm second on threath list and using Bladestorm probably would steal your aggro, I can gladly wait and just dps normally for a while before Bladestormig. Bosses have so much healt it's fine to use it a bit later, there is still time. After all I don't want to tank and make your threath building harder.
I don't use Bladestorm on trash mobs. I know your not holding everyone 100% and can't. We can dps them down one by one and let you tank. But I'll hit my Bladestorm when we are in trouble. When tank dies. When there's just too much mobs and we can't handle them one by one. When healer dies I'll try anyway to survive.
I think I'm bit too careful not to piss off anyone. I always wait before charging that tank has mobs on him, see if he wants to move them somewhere, then I'll /assist him. Some tanks mark targets many don't. So I just use assist very often: when we have killed the first mob to choose the next to hit or when I notice I'm generating more threat to see am I really hitting the right mob like I thought at first.
Jan 11th 2010 7:51PM Thank you, this was very good guide! Wish there were guides like this for all instances. It's easier to read and try to remember this way. Trying to read the stategies from the usual sources one boss at a time tends to mess my focus - it's harder to read separate paragraphs than a chapter.
Jan 11th 2010 10:07AM Yeah there is too many funny moments when seeing someone named like that. And there are too many horrible and bit fulgar names even in RP-server (people just don't seem to care). They are not in english but in my language so maybe people don't feel like reporting someone from their own country although their name would include women bodyparts. ><
But there's something about naming your toons with your own language, those who can understand see where you are from and although the name is funny and odd at first it becomes the toons name. For example someone names their toon Flowerpot but not in english - that's not a name but after a time it is name and not a flowerpot. I never name my chars like this but you somehow start to like those odd names after a time, it's like an inside joke you share.
Jan 11th 2010 9:48AM I always check the Armory to see if there's someone (mostly more than 50) using that name already. It does make it hard to find a good name if you try to think something nobody else is using. I like that there isn't anyone atm using the same name. I'm playing in RP-realm and naming my chars 'right' is important for me although I don't RP (yet). I like simple names that are easy to write and say, I like to think it's easier to remember someone that way.. don't know does it work though.
I have a dk whose name I don't like that much. I just got annoyed trying to come up with a name nobody had. So I named her Morrisa like so many others had named their toons. I might use namechange one day but usually I just get too attached to that name and char combination that I can't think any name that would feel the same. Maybe so common name is ok for a dk.
I love my toons. They are my window to Azeroth. Finding a name I like is very important. It doesn't need to be cool or fitting just something to like and get attached to.
I'd love to make more trickier names that don't mean anything but are actually made by combining two words that do, changing places of some letters etc. to make it unique. I have only one toon named liked that since it's pretty hard and takes time to find two good words to mix.
Jan 8th 2010 2:10PM Oh bad typo. :)
"Good customer service is not make it simple andd easy so you can keep your customers."
*is to make it simple and easy
Jan 8th 2010 1:48PM Yes I think authenticator+Cataclysm expansion is good idea and I would happily pay more for it than just the expansion. This way almost everyone could get it. BUT THE ONLY WAY I'm seeing authenticators being mandatory is that you can buy them from the same shops/retailers you can buy your game cards and WoW + expansions. IF you make it mandatory getting authenticator have to be EASY and POSSIBLE for almost ALL wow players around the world. Only way to make it easy - you can walk into shop and byu it or you can buy it from online-shop where you have NO difficulties paying and it will be shipped to you NO MATTER where the hell you might live. Yes so Blizz games are not sold in your country for some weird reason, no problem still you would have many other routes to get it; for example ship it from your neighbor country's online-store. Blizz can't handle shipping all over the world by itself, here is an easy solution.
If Blizz don't make this possible they will lose many players, you think they want that?
It is bad customer service that the only source to get authenticator is to buy it from Blizzard store! When they don't even ship everywhere although it's in their list of "we are shipping here" and when the paying methods are very limited.
I WANT TO buy authenticator even if it would cost triple as much as now. Here are some reasons I haven't. Mine and many others difficulties don't seems to interest Blizz since they haven't done any changes and seem to think that if people can't do it their way it's not Blizz fault but the people/countries.
1. I don't have credit card. I could possibly get one but that wouldn't help.
2. My country (in EU) supports mainly if not ONLY Verified by Visa service. It means that there is no way you can pay anything just by writing and sending your credit card information (although it would be https-site). I have not used this service but my knowledge is that it's similar as online-banks. In my country we mainly pay our online-shoppings this way, logging to our bank account and verifying the purchase like paying bills. Ofc having this service costs so many small shops have other ways; they send you a bill with your purchase or you prepay and they send your purchase when they see the payment on their bank account. And since everyone is not using it there is no reason for Blizz to use it.
3. I somehow manage to find bank and credit card that allows me to buy with this unsecure way by sending my credit info - only to find out that Blizz won't ship here. I trust they do ship here but getting that credit card would be a real pain (and I'm not 100% sure I'd get one).
4. I don't have phone they support for those authenticator apps. I think they support only new 3G-mobiles? How long they support older phones and how fast they start supporting new phones and manufacturers? And those phones cost and there is no 100% guarantee the it will work with the apps. So I wouldn't go and buy new expensive phone just for authenticator. You know, everything that can go wrong will - particularly with different apps and devises. 3G-phones need security-apps to protect from increasing viruses to mobiles. Will Blizz guarantee that their apps work with these security-apps and when some virus anyway hits you and goes grazy is it your fault?
There might be some inaccurate things in my writings so excuse me but this topic really heats me up.
Yes, go ahead and make it mandatory but make sure ALL players can get one. You know it's ok if you get one with Cata-expansion but when you lose it and need another... there has to be a way to get one without going thru hell. Good customer service is not make it simple andd easy so you can keep your customers.
Jan 6th 2010 2:43PM @Shizukera: Yeah I understand you.
I might have tried to edit my photo to look like an undead but I'm happy I didn't. Just go and read people's comments on Facebook's Warcraft page where they have put some mosaic photos. Yeah, now you know. It's like boys have never seen a girl before... It makes me roll my eyes.
