Nov 19th 2011 2:33AM @Matthew Rossi Could it be that you are reading the Valdemar series?

The Queue: BlizzCon was really fun {WoW}

Oct 28th 2011 4:18PM Also, I was just thinking. Right now, when you queue for a random BG, it's a gamble to end up in one that has even one healer. In BGs such as WSG and Twin Peaks, where you are trying to hold onto a flag until the enemy drops theirs, I have seen healers being much needed. But if you aren't lucky, then you get no healers and the enemy has a huge advantage on you.

I think it would be cool if there was some kind of internal system in place where it attempts to find x amount of healers per bg and then fill in the remaining slots based on the first come, first served method.

Oct 28th 2011 3:32PM Where do Pandaren get shipped off to after level ten and choosing their faction? Worgen were shipped to the night elf zones after their starting zone. Granted you could choose your own poison from that point, but the quests led you to Darkshore eventually. Will alliance Panderan end up in the human areas, night elf, or dwarf areas. I would think human, just because night elf already has worgen and draenei, and dwarves have gnomes, but I was curious if this was the case.

Oct 28th 2011 5:26AM I'm not a huge rp'er, but I'm a fan of Witty Mage. All it does is provide witty sayings whenever you do something like cast a spell. The best part is that it's fairly simple to change the sayings to something that suits you.

Arcane Brilliance: Why the one true spec assumption is a lie {WoW}

Oct 22nd 2011 8:28PM That's the best reason to play any spec. I honestly believe that you will play your best in a spec that you love, no matter what your reasons for loving it is. I love playing my frost mage. Therefore, I actually do more dps on it than I do as arcane or fire. I just can't get into a spec or class that I don't find fun.

People who respec just because it gets more dps are respeccing for the wrong reason. Respec if you aren't enjoying your spec.

You are choosing the right reason to play arcane and I salute you for that.

Oct 22nd 2011 8:21PM I, for one, hope not. I love my elemental. (I love most 'pet' specs of different classes.) If you don't like the water elemental, you can always dismiss it. Part of my being a frost mage is having my water elemental out at all times.

If they're going to change it back to not being a perma-pet, maybe they could at least give each individual player the choice to go one way or the other.

Oct 22nd 2011 8:09PM @rTwelve Are you, as a frost mage, gearing for mastery? Cause if so, you're doing it wrong. I'm not saying this as an insult, but mastery for frost sucks. I actually do comparable damage against arcane as a frost mage, and I look for crit and haste, not mastery and haste. And I can roll with the big boys that way.
