Breakfast Topic: What makes a WoW geek? {WoW}

Dec 1st 2010 8:28AM "What makes a WoW geek?"

You have an active WoW subscription.

Breakfast Topic: Will you be buying either of the new vanity pets? {WoW}

Nov 30th 2010 9:03AM Adding to what you said,
While I can afford the pets, I don't see what it is I am BUYING if I chose to make the purchase. Like the Pets and mount before these two, you are giving Blizzard money to associate a vanity item to an account that BLIZZARD owns. You are paying them money to enhance their own property that they are able to kick you off of whenever they feel like it. One or two may not be a big deal, but if you've bought them all, that's $65.

In addition, I will not be purchasing these pets because every purchase only means that they will offer more through this store because it has direct profit. I'd rather have these pet designers working on content that everyone can get access to using their only subscription fee.

Breakfast Topic: What won't you miss about Wrath? {WoW}

Sep 25th 2010 8:38AM Rhonin... Why Blizzard? Why did you actually make a place for this PoS in WotLK?

The Queue: Failure {WoW}

Sep 21st 2010 10:31AM Having not found any screenshots depicting Worgen in helmets - Do we know yet if Worgen characters will have any part of their head clipping through the helmet? Since Worgen will have the longest faces of all the races, will their muzzles be sticking out the front of helms that are fully closed on other races? Or will the helm find a way to wrap itself around this protrusion?

Breakfast Topic: Are children welcome in your guild? {WoW}

Sep 15th 2010 10:37AM See, a lot of people go with the "mature behavior" as their criteria instead of age. But there are guilds out there like mine that even that doesn't work. We are an adult only guild, not because we have any innate issues with kids, but because we are Mature but wish to act immature.

Our raids are a time of release from having to act like adults - so we ACT immature and we get vulgar - but we still get the job done.

It's hard for kids to fit into this because most kids are either actually immature, or are mature and won't lower themselves to acting immature.

Not to mention that in a very social guild, it's difficult for the kids to relate to the adults and vice-versa.

Breakfast Topic: Why won't they play? {WoW}

Sep 13th 2010 9:01AM To me, the "It's too expensive" argument is invalid. Yes, the cost of the Original game + Expansions (as needed) + Monthly fee is relatively high compared to another SINGLE game. However, it's the SINGLE that is the fault of the argument.

I (and many others) have actually saved a lot of money with WoW. I can buy any other game and it will last about 1 week to 1 month before I'm done with it. WoW has lasted 5 years and I haven't been buying nearly as many games as I used to before I started playing.

Combine WoW with Gamefly and I save a ton of money these days.

Breakfast Topic: Hey, how'd he do that? {WoW}

Breakfast Topic: What constitutes canon in WoW lore? {WoW}

Jul 12th 2010 8:23AM Maybe they'll be able to find a way to use the new Archeology skill in Cata to shed light on these lore moments when they originate from a book or comic or anything else not in-game.
