May 1st 2007 4:21PM My main is a lock, it doesn't cost a shard.
I think maybe they were thinking that instacast spell that may return a shard if the mob dies soon. But I'm affliction, and entirely forget what it's called.
Apr 24th 2007 11:18AM Frankly, I'd love to see guild housing with a guild wide quest giver, perhaps similar to the AQ opening where you give materials to him. And as you turn stuff in, your guild tabard gets buffed. So, say you turn in 1000 netherweave bandages, if you wear the guild tabard, it gives a +5 stamina bonus. You could make it configurable by the GL, where you get X amount of points to spend, and can put it in various things, like training a hunter pet. So, if your guild is going to MC, you can have a +20 FR +10 stam tabard. Granted, this isn't very guild housing centric... it's just a guild wide thing I'd love to particpate in.
Apr 23rd 2007 4:11PM I use my a bank alt, and it is so handy when someone in the guild says "Anyone have 10 primal earths?" and I just log my bank on and mail them off. It's better than going through every miner I have (4, at last count). Plus, when I make complete stacks of things, like primals and stuff, I sell them as whole stacks, freeing room for lots of other stuff.
It's really handy to me to just have a shared place that all my toons can take and contribute to.
Apr 19th 2007 3:48PM I have a thrashin robot. and I'm 3-1 against the other guildie who has one. I also tear her up in tonk battles.
But the bluffing thing for the poker isn't really in effect. We just all give gold to a central person, or pay up to the winner, and play 1 gold hands.
Apr 19th 2007 1:25PM RE: poker, my guild currently plays poker while we wait for things. we just /rand 10000 99999, so you get a hand. For example, 30207 is a pair of 0 which is low. 39997 is triple 9s. We've had a few four of a kinds, and once saw a number in the high 999xxs, I can't remember just how high it was.

Apr 17th 2007 9:27AM We had a karazhan run threatening to leave the station with 4 hunters last night.
I for one welcome our new hunter overlords.
