Apr 16th 2007 1:55PM This past NYE, I made the goal to run the triathalon in a state park near where I live in Summer 2008. To be clear, I gave myself 18 months because I'm not in a single recognizable shape. I found out quickly that telling people I'm going to do a triathalon elicits laughter or suprise, and neither for a very good reason.
So, I love reading articles like this, and I've been waiting for my area to be warm enough for me to run in shorts early in the morning. But I've been slowly and surely getting more and more distance in on my exercise bike, and I'm quite ready for that.
I'm using my plentiful training time as a chance to gain a lot of muscle and lose a lot of weight, and I love reading this site, because it always gets me pumped up for a "marathon" exercise session.
Apr 16th 2007 8:23AM ?My old guild leader was an orlando guy with a few orlando friends, and a bunch of random people added in. Then that guild imploded, and we all (GL included) joined another set of friends from Atlanta, and a few randoms of their own. So we were just a load of random people.
We had a 20 man raid on Atlanta to one of their houses (it was a couple who lived and played together.) and then we had a 15 man to Orlando to the ooold guild leader's house. It was awesome meeting people we played with. I'm as close to my guild as I am to people I know in real life, and anyone who views this game like it's a job, isn't getting the full experience in my book.
Apr 13th 2007 9:08AM I was in the arena with my level 70 warlock evening things up. there was a high level horde, so I killed him before the event, so the people of appropriate level could do their thing. These lowbie alliance invited me, and wanted my help killing the lone hordie, and I didn't assist. so the 35 warrior, and 32 mage jump in, and the 29 troll hunter BEATS THE TAR OUT OF THEM! IT was awesome to watch, and he saw me, so he grabed the treasure and ran. I chased after him, waving waving waving, and finally he stopped. I /congrated, /clapped, and /goodbyed him.
He logged an alliance toon, and I told him what was up, and he said he almost /logged in his pants when he saw me.
Apr 12th 2007 8:53AM @1. We had the wizard of oz event bug on us, and the GM basically said GFY. I hate that half of them seem helpful, the other half can't be bothered to assist.
Apr 10th 2007 3:36PM Is that max health fully buffed? or just straight gear?
Because we have a warrior who was fully buffed for well over 20k HP. granted it was flasked, elixered, potted, talents, buffed out the wazoo.
Apr 9th 2007 2:37PM Yay!
It was so wonderfully tasty too. Mmm Mmm.
Apr 5th 2007 3:59PM the Wario game for the Wii pissed me off. I bought it for a party game, and we had to noob through the single player stuff. and by the time we got it all done, the night was over.
Granted, once it was all unlocked, I owned them on the dart board.
Apr 3rd 2007 4:21PM I actually just spent 8 years without medical insurance. I had a physical today, which was the first Dr. I have seen in that time. I'm lucky it didn't bite me in the ass.
(side note: This blog is the reason I did that, and the reason I am going to be in a triathalon next year. I made it my New Years Resolution, and I'm working my hind end off to be able to do this.)
