Oct 24th 2010 12:43AM Anyone else who plays more horde than alliance pooped off at having storwind on their login screen?
Even when i play my alliance toons, i avoid stormwind at all times, least favorite of the alliance cities.
Deathwing threatening a place i have no personal stake in saving doesn't feel very epic.
Oct 10th 2010 11:19AM The price will definately drop. It'll probably drop to a small amount above the average price of the transmute mats. For red gems on my server that mean a bit over 35g. The prices of the matswill probably rise, but i'd guess maybe 50-60g for red gems, compared to 80-90g each now.
The best idea is to buy enough mats to transmute all the gems you need right now, and find a guildy alchemist and JC to do it all for you after the CD is removed.
Sep 14th 2010 11:05AM Big big hunk o' tauren wants tiny tiny raptor!
Aug 23rd 2010 4:16AM I heartily enjoy what seems to be the little competition between both of the Spiritual Guidance writers, in terms of creativity of intros.
I make sure to read the intro of every column, even when i'm not interested in the topic.
This is by far the best. Mr. Van Allen better have something truly amazing to pull out of the shadowy depths of his hat to top this one!
Aug 9th 2010 2:38PM I may not enjoy PVP much, but i certainly enjoy Regina Spektor!
Also, check out Diane Cluck.

and maybe DXE or Bartender4, both mostly just for convenience.
I'm so deeply in love with power auras, even after all these years our love remains firey and passionate. I'd set up auras for most everything in the fight, use the timers to set up CD counts, track debuffs i need to know about more easily than the default target frame, basically to simulate the effect of any other addon i'd normally run with :P
May 25th 2010 1:13PM Yeah, as other's have said, aron made a fantastic guest.
I didn't think there was such a thing as a sensible, measured PvPer! :P
Also, I think there will be plenty of people who share the same story in regards to getting into Blizzard games. I know i remember when Warcraft: Orcs and Humans came out. It was first game that all my friends were playing that i could play as well.
May 25th 2010 11:20AM Important, yes, but common, no.
Meat has always been considered important, because of it's scarcity. Meat prices would not be comparable to what they are today, when (environmentally and ethically disastrous) factory farming procedures allow for a much higher yield.
Also, yes, officers certainly would not be from the peasant class. :) They - in regular times - would've eaten meat more regularly. But while at war, there would not be a lot of meat.
May 25th 2010 10:27AM Not true, actually. As many people know, the gladiators of ancient rome (the proffesional, trained ones, not the convicts thrown in to be killed) were vegan. They ate mostly lentils and barley, with a few veggies occasionally.
Also, meat has been an incredibly small part of the human diet for the vast majority of human history.
In medieval times (standard fantasy setting) times, the majority of the population would eat meat rarely.
Also, for armies on the move, before refrigeration, carrying around a lot of meat is a bad idea. A little bit of dried meat, and some looting of farms for fresh meat supplemented a mostly vegetarian diet.
Mar 19th 2010 2:11AM Also, healers definitely do not need to help out with DPS on the blocks in 10man. As I'm sure anyone who has done it in 10man will attest the risk of over-zealous DPS breaking the blocks earlier in p2 is infinitely more likely than the blocks not being DPSd down fast enough (that's unpossible!).
And obviously in p3 healers are more than likely gonna have better things to worry about than a weak Moonfire/Lightning Bolt/Smite/etc on the blocks.
