Mar 29th 2012 2:29AM Speaking as a third spacegoat, I love my totems, but I wouldn't be adverse to them being spruced up. But I do like the minimalist look to them. We don't need whirlyboppers and whatnot to get it done. Just a few floating stones.
Mar 8th 2012 8:15PM Well, for mail, there is the Cataclysm helm (and its PVP equivalent) from TBC. But both versions are shaman-specific, which complicates matters for hunters.
The Cataclysm shoulders also seem kind of Samus-like to me.
Feb 27th 2012 1:18AM "Sha (煞, shā) is Chinese for "evil spirit""
So you're kinda right. But it could still be an interesting tie-in, too.
Sep 28th 2011 1:03PM Its been known for a little while that the daggers wouldn't let you fly. Several days ago, a Spanish Blue posted (roughly translated) "the wings are only aesthetic," meaning no flying. Least they can slowfall (which meshes with the first picture, as the rogue in it is in a falling pose, not a hovering one).
Aug 2nd 2011 10:17PM And the ethereals wouldn't be a wtf race? At least in regards to this. Yet another alien race introduced to a world that isn't their's (at the start anyway). Yay, just what we need, another race that can be easily sidelined for the Alliance.
Aug 2nd 2011 9:20PM I really don't think Pandaren would be a playable race. With how Blizzard has handled the Worgen/Draenei/Goblin/BE, do you really want yet another new race that gets sidelined after this expansion?
Give structure to what's already there first. Then add more.
I can see the Pandaren as the main allied race for players, maybe divided by a faction so one faction is with the Horde and one with the Alliance, but all as NPCs, none as players.
Mar 22nd 2011 3:11PM Wait..."Auctioneer NPCs have been placed in each major city"? All the way back then? I've been playing for so long I'll admit my memory is foggy, but weren't IF and Org the only cities with an AH at release? Wonder why that changed...
Mar 16th 2011 11:27PM Still, renaming it is overkill. As I pointed out, if you renamed the Tsunami armor due to this, might as well go all the way and rename everything else that even has a vague connection to some tragedy.
Hell, might as well reduce players to indistinct gray boxes that can't move. Rename it "Game the Game." Can't offend anybody that way.
Mar 16th 2011 11:11PM Why on earth would they rename it?
Yes, the tsunami that hit Japan was a horrible disaster, but its not like it was the first of its kind (there was the one in 2004, for a recent example). If you rename it, might as well change the names of Darkmoon Card: Earthquake (the earthquake that caused said tsunami), Darkmoon Card: Hurricane (Hurricane Katrina), Darkmoon Card: Volcano (Mount Vesuvius taking out Pompeii, or other volcanos that cause destruction elsewhere that I can't recall), and lord knows what else.
There's being PC, and then there's overkill.
