Shifting Perspectives: Making life hell for groups with Mists of Pandaria druid talents {WoW}

Mar 7th 2012 8:33AM "Heart of the Wild is a much better bonus for resto it is for bears, turning you into an emergency tank"

The problem, Allison, is that HotW lasts for 45 seconds. There is no way you are going to be able to tank in an emergency situation for more than 15 seconds without crit immunity, which you won't have as a resto spec.

Mar 7th 2012 8:27AM Read the tooltip for Ursol's Vortex again. It brings the mobs to the TARGET LOCATION not the caster's location.

Mar 7th 2012 8:15AM No you can't. Displacer Beast and Wild Charge are in the same talent tier. You can't have them both.

Feb 27th 2012 8:56AM I'm also concerned about the positional requirements of Holy Nova. PoH is limited to group, but that requires no more than mousing over a player in a different group in my raid frame. Having to run to another group could be pretty taxing. As a compromise, Holy Nova could effect all members of the party or raid, but it's effect is reduced the farther away the player is from the caster. Of course, this could become a bit too powerful in stacking phases.

Feb 15th 2012 10:47AM I like the new mount. I wish we got this for the annual pass instead of that lame one they barfed out. So.... I can haz cheezburger?

Encrypted Text: Expanding your collection of rogue resources {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2011 11:35AM "our usefulness is measured by a single stat: DPS. "

I must object to this. If there is a fight with interruptable casts and I check recount and see a Rogue with zero interrupts, I consider that a poor performance. If there is a fight with regular AoE damage and I see no damage mitigated by Feint, I consider that a poor performance. If a loose add goes after a healer and a Rogue doesn't Tricks it back to the tank, I consider that a poor performance.

DPS is certainly a very important metric for a Rogue, the most important to be sure, but it's certainly not the only thing we should be measured by.

Dec 19th 2011 5:53PM Thanks, Chase. I hope to have my daggers by the end of the week (tanking for my guild raid group takes priority).

Dec 19th 2011 9:01AM I'm having a very difficult time killing Creed as Assassination. I've found a way to easily stealth into his courtyard and start the fight, but I can't seem to get him below 60% before dying, let alone kill him. Any tips? I'm trying to kick every Blackhowl's Will and get out of the Consuming Darkness circles as soon as I see the cast start. I'm using Evasion and Cloak. I've even used Dismantle, but he's still killing me. It's almost like a pvp fight (and I hate pvp).

Patch 4.3 PTR: Rogue legendary dagger proc revealed {WoW}

Oct 31st 2011 10:04AM The tooltip doesn't say what actually causes the Shadows of the Destroyer (Agility) buff to stack. Is it on a melee swing? A melee hit? Or does it just start stacking on it's own once you're in combat? If so, how quickly does it stack up? Yes, the Fury of the Destroyer buff is certainly quite delicious, but I'm rather curious about how the Shadows buff stacks.

Oct 31st 2011 9:47AM "And Disentanglement is not going to get to live. A 20% heal every 30 seconds? Really? Come on now, that's just silly"
Check out Recuperate for Rogues. It's a bigger self-heal, just as a HoT over 30 seconds. Disentanglement seems quite reasonable to me.
