Oct 18th 2010 11:25PM I used to use DBM, back when Ulduar was still the shit. After the initial thrill of finally being able to raid, it began to get boring and repetitive. I complained about how raiding was too easy to my guild one day, and most of them agreed. One of our dps though, asked me if I was using raiding addons, and when I said yes, he said to turn them off and I might have more fun. At first I basically was saying "lol no" to him, but he kept pestering me about it, because I kept complaining.
I finally went one Ulduar raid without any addons turned on, and I was so overwhelmed with stuff I had to keep track of that I caused a multitude of wipes. And you know what? I had fun. My guild bitched for a while about it, but I decided then to start going addon-less on fights we had on farm, and eventually stopped using them entirely. And I got better at it! Soon I was back to being my guild's go-to healer (though that's not saying much, heh).
And so the moral of the story? If you were using raiding addons during Wrath, I swear by the Light you better not have been saying raiding was too easy, or that it was boring. If you think that, mix things up a little! Make things a bit more hectic! Get rid of the stuff you just said make things easier! Either that, or quit complaining, because YOU are making it easier, not Blizz.
Sep 30th 2010 4:17PM Just wondering, but you wouldn't happen to be from Exodar (US)?
Sep 24th 2010 10:55PM I think if they are doing it so they can use that quote, it's acceptable. But barely.
Sep 19th 2010 3:00AM Guys, I'm fairly sure that these models are still works in progress, as we still can't actually make them.
Sep 17th 2010 3:27PM Dear god. The Twilights are expanding their control over the elements TO THE PERIODIC TABLE. Hydrogen, chlorine, uranium, and the powerful 5th element....... Boron. WE'RE DOOMED.
