Special LIVE podcast this Friday at 1:00 p.m. EST {WoW}

Dec 2nd 2010 4:38PM Remember the episode that began with Michael Sacco saying "This week... Well, I suppose every week I am your host." When was that? Oh, yeah, last week.

Although I guess he can still be the host this week, only in absentia.

Operation: Gnomeregan and Zalazane's Fall events over {WoW}

Oct 12th 2010 7:16PM I did it last night on 3 80s. And it only took 6 or 7 tries due to the thing breaking constantly. But at least I got it done on all 5 of my level 80 Alliance characters.

Tuesday Morning Post: A farewell to portals edition {WoW}

Sep 28th 2010 8:20AM It pretty much guarantees no one will be doing the Argent Tournament Dailies anymore. Having to travel all the way there from BT and HF and hearth back to SW or Org is going to be more than most people will want to deal with.

Weekly Podcast Roundup: July 19 through July 25, 2010 {WoW}

Jul 27th 2010 7:40AM If you have been enjoying Anne on The Wow Insider Show and Shade on All Things Azeroth, be sure and check out this week's Gamings Worlds Collide where at least one of them makes an appearance.

Cataclysm class and mastery systems explained {WoW}

Jul 7th 2010 6:08PM I ran a BRD to completion on a lvl50 something frost mage the other day. Near the end, someone pointed out that our paladin tank didn't have a single point in Prot. I obviously wasn't doing the healing but it didn't seem to be causing any issues.

Reminder: Save your mobile authenticator serial number before you upgrade your iPhone {WoW}

Jun 22nd 2010 3:10PM I always remove the authenticator from my account before I do a major iPhone upgrade. I really wish Blizzard had picked a different day to take battle.net offline for hours.

Cataclysm Talent Preview: Shadow priests {WoW}

Jun 11th 2010 7:38AM > that suggests Blizzard envisions healing priests to be smiting their enemies here and there.

Apparently they intend for all healers to be doing some damage - since they are stripping Resto Druids of tree form and including this talent

Fury of a Stormrage (3 points) - You have a 5/10/15% chance when you cast Nourish or Healing Touch to cause your next Wrath spell to be instant cast and cost no mana. Fury of Stormrage lasts for 8 seconds.

all the way down in Tier 6. The last time I really dpsed seriously on my druid as resto was during the Dalliah the Doomsayer fight in Arcatraz.

Know Your Lore: Current Alliance politics -- the Draenei, page 2 {WoW}

Jun 6th 2010 9:33AM Gee, I wonder where Varian could learn more about the Draenei? If only Velen had sent someone, like maybe an emissary, to Stormwind?

http://www.wowwiki.com/Emissary_Taluun

It seems to me, that unlike the Night Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes, Varian has the opportunity to interact with the Draenei on a regular basis.

Oh, and no one mentioned Anchorite Tessa, and every Draenei's favorite Demolitionist, Legoso, who can be out with the Valiance Expedition in Wintergrasp.

I think Blizzard didn't forget about the Draenei in Wrath - they simply wanted to tell other stories this time and felt they had enough exposure in BC. Yes, the whole conspiracy questline in BC is lame, but it was their best idea at the time. Northrend is also crawling with High Elves, who kind of took the spots that the Draenei would have otherwise have had.

My prediction: we still have at one two expansions left featuring the Draenei - a return trip to Argus battling the Burning Legion, which will set up the wrap up finale, WOW: Army of the Light, where at Level 100, led by Velen, we take the fight to Sargeras once and for all.

Spiritual Guidance: Gear guide for fresh 80 healing priests {WoW}

May 3rd 2010 9:27AM Just to point out, while they are not ideal for everything, if you have built up some honor along the way, there are some decent pvp items that you can pick up quickly:

Wrathful Gladiator's Cuffs of Dominance
Relentless Gladiator's Cord of Salvation
Relentless Gladiator's Treads of Alacrity
Relentless Gladiator's Pendant of Subjugation
Battlemaster's Vivacity

These can help get you started, and you can always use them for actual pvp if you are into that.

Oh, and if you want to spend your badges on something besides a robe first, the Robes of Crackling Flame (from Exalted with the Kirin Tor) worked well for my Resto Druid.

Breakfast Topic: Fear is the mind-killer {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 10:39AM "That said, I am not sure how good some of the people are who left, but I'm going to guess you may be happy they did leave as some people know they shouldn't be handling that instance, heh." - Bornakk

I am trying to figure out what is so funny about a group getting a tank who doesn't feel they are capable of doing an instance and feeling obligated to let the group down by leaving? Is that really supposed to make anyone "be happy?"
