Jun 2nd 2011 9:28AM The heroic version of te BoE items is likely gotten by turning the trash drop in to a special vendor with the crystallized firestone token mentioned in another wow insider article the other day.
May 2nd 2011 3:36PM Dots can still crit, they just don't proc ignite anymore when they do.
Mar 4th 2011 11:03AM "Bear in mind that the weapons and armor coming from ZA and ZG will be item level 378, though."
Nope, those items will be 353, lower than what currently drops in raids, but higher what is available in current heroic 5mans
Mar 1st 2011 11:52AM Well, an albino is a genetic mutation that causes a lack of pigmentation in the skin and hair and such, so the Albino Drake is certainly NOT from a separate flight. It could be from any of the normally colored flights really.
Jan 27th 2011 6:54AM Changes like that are just adding or removing existing objects in the game.
"Changes to the game world" refers to stuff like moving or changing actual geometry, terrain, buildings and such.
Jan 23rd 2011 7:40AM Sounds more like he wasn't aware it works on shields (I certainly wasn't until a guild shaman asked me to do that enchant and plonked a shield in the trade slot).
Shields are already superior to off-hands as they provide massive armor and damage mitigation. A separate (weaker/more expensive) shield enchant would just give those classes an excuse to roll on off-hands, and there is already plenty of competition with 4 caster classes using those, and a better enchant would only make it even MORE unfair to classes barred from using shields (less competition on rolls, epic shields craftable, epic off-hands not, epic relics available for VP, wands not).
Jan 22nd 2011 6:21PM The 100(40) int on off-hand also works for shields.
Nov 24th 2010 7:54AM Well you guys got the Shattering 18 hours before us, we get Cata 9 hours before you. fair trade I'd say :D
Oct 22nd 2010 5:43PM I wonder though. Say if you buy the disc version, will you be able to do the pre-download and install as well and then just activate it with the code from the box? That'd be nice. Though when push comes to shove I guess I could just do what I did for wrath: Dow load the image off the net, install it earlier inthe day, do to the midnight launch and then go home and punch in the activation code...
Dec 7th 2009 1:35PM Frostfire casts slower than Frostbolt by .5 seconds. While it does get boosted from talents that affect frost and fire spells, it doesn't get boosted when Frostbolt is named in the talent.
PvE Glyphs for Frost would be Frostbolt, Eternal Water, and likely Molten Armor.
Though Frost mages will want to avoid Spirit as they don't regen mana while casting, it will be hard to avoid completely. Though Frostbolt won't be really snaring the target anymore, in a raid there will be some form of snare on the boss 99% of the time, so TTW will still trigger.
