Aug 23rd 2007 4:20AM I'm not too worried about the massive influx of Death Knights. It will be annoying at first, sure. But in the end class preference comes down to play style. And playing a DK will simply not jive with everyone.
I hope the next expansion or two will have a DPS class and a healer class, though.
Aug 21st 2007 5:44PM Personally, I'm excited about it. I've been looking for a good fantasy series to start reading for awhile now and being a WoW fan, it looks like this might be the one.
But like #2 said, in the end it will all come down to the quality of the writing.
Aug 18th 2007 9:10PM Interesting! As a person who has the bad habit of only reading the objectives of quests and hasn't played the RTS's in forever, I appreciate this kind of post. Maybe the other writers can do similar articles on the lore surrounding their classes.
Aug 7th 2007 5:17PM I don't see why you wouldn't want to keep covering this stuff. What makes WoW so much more interesting than it actually is, are the people and the crazy things they do. Xzin is definitely doing some crazy things.
Aug 2nd 2007 7:06PM Although I'm not strictly against a raised level cap, I'd much prefer retooled or new mid-level zones. This has nothing to do with my epics being out-dated (especially since I don't have any!) but because new mid-range content is something *everyone* can enjoy. Well, except for maybe those crazy people who've somehow managed to level all 9 classes to 70 already.
A few people have suggested other forms of post 70 progression that I think would be just as satisfying. Something along the lines of keeping our characters at level 70 but getting 10 more talent points or letting us advance through the much speculated hero class system. Just make it so that my friends who are way more hardcore then me don't end up having to wait for my sorry ass to reach the new cap just so we can experience new content together.
Jul 25th 2007 7:28PM Hooray for WoW Insider and Upperdeck!
Apr 16th 2007 5:20PM @1 - I disagree. I like feeling attached to my pets.
I was fortunate enough to use that old /scrip abandon method to get new random names before it was patched out. My succy ended up with name Hellith which was far better then her original name of Thulkresh. (Made worse because both my void and imp had "Thul" as a prefix.)
Mar 16th 2007 8:36PM @4 "And physically push your eyes further, WTF is that?!? If I push my eyes everything gets blurry and it doesn't feel well at all. I'm gonna go with the fact that #4 isn't being completely honest with us."
No, he is being honest. It does work and you do need to exert your eyes physically.
You do have to push it more then you should and it *is* very uncomfortable. Ideally you should just be able to stare past the screen and have the image appear.
Still pretty cool.
Jan 21st 2007 4:49AM That made me laugh. I mean, I've seen much worse. Mostly because he knew that set would bomb and he was self-deprecating enough to pull it off.
Shannen Doherty plays WoW? Hawt.
