Nov 17th 2009 2:39PM The problem is Microsoft is trying to be too cool. Apple has that market cornered. Everyone else is working under their shadow.
What they really should do is take the Jon Hodgman (I'm a PC guy) and run with it. Be over-the-top corporate ala Alec Baldwin (30 Rock, Hulu commercials).
I would get a kick to walk into a Microsoft store that poked fun at themselves. Nothing more is a bigger FU to Apple than taking their own caricature of PC and patronizing it.
Jul 24th 2009 12:51PM Its a case of you get what you pay for. All that money people paid for Live goes into the R&D of making it a better user experience.
May 28th 2009 2:16PM Welcome to the Sprint family. I've been in customer in CA for the past 8 years. Sure customer service was spotty for the 10 times I called them during my tenure with them, but their excellent coverage and cost supersede that.
Oct 19th 2007 11:40AM m - LOL, you took my joke. So true.
Sep 13th 2007 2:18PM Huh?! Were gas cars getting 40 - 50mpg in 1907?
I knew I shouldn't have cut out of high school history.
Again, I hate how Hollywood is stereotyped. I live in freakin Hollywood and celebs drive more V8 luxury cars, SUVs, and Exotics than Hybrids.
There are less than 5 celebs I know that drive hybrids.
Even if you hate Al Gore, I don't see how you can deny Global Warming. You may not like the man, but his message is real.
Sep 13th 2007 1:20PM Where have you guys been? Since the Touch's annoucement it has been established that the jack IS NOT recessed like the iPhone.
Sep 6th 2007 4:14AM You haven't seen enough SNL. Don't you know the iPod Pequena will be released tomorrow followed by the iPod Invisa shortly after.
And it will hold 1 billion songs.
Okay, I know you're being sarcastic, but to those who are truly angry at Jobs for dropping the iPhone cost reveal your true elitism.
As for the Nano, I love it. I currently own a 2g Red Nano, and would have love to have video capibility. I love the fact that I can listen to video podcasting now. Yes listen, I don't necessarily need to watch em if they're just interviews.
A wider screen also helps by displaying more text. As opposed to having it cut off, waiting for the full title of some songs scroll across.
I don't like the chrome back though. I just bought my 2g nano in May so I'm in no rush to upgrade. I'll probably wait another year or two before doing so--hopefully they'll have some wireless integration within the nano by then.
Sep 5th 2007 7:16PM So what's Apple suppose to do? Not release any new products?
If you paid attention to the internet you would've known Apple would be releasing a new iPod today well over a weak ago.
I bought my 2G Nano last May knowing full well, Apple could possibly release a new one just b4 X-mas. Lifecycles in technology change very fast. The key is to jump in and not look back.
Sep 5th 2007 5:43PM Looks like the 4gb iPhones have sold out already, thus replacing those former Apple fanboys who claim they will "never buy another Apple product again".
Haha, its like all these people buying an iPhone expecting it to hold its resale value like a Honda or Toyota only to have it depreciate like a Hyundai. Tragic.
It goes to show how luxurious/superficial Apple products have become. "If everyone is Super than no one is."
Sep 5th 2007 2:33PM It's kind of a catch 22. Because the early adopters purchased iPhones at a rate faster than anyone expected, it allowed Apple to price drop it quickly.
If everyone "waited", Apple would probably be forced to keep the price high.
