Jun 8th 2010 5:52PM haha I would love one of these. Would have to hide it when anyone comes over to my house though rofl. (very few people in my social life know I play WoW)
Jun 7th 2010 6:13PM Meh I could care less about all the spikes. My issue is how some classes look absolutely amazing (i.e. T10 paladins and shaman) but other T10 sets look horrid. My main is a priest and I feel like a clown walking around in discolored robes and a hood that makes it look more like I got stuck under a tent.
Jun 7th 2010 6:04PM Thanks for all the reply's! Yeah when you put it like that it makes sense. We'll see how it goes. And in reply to galestrom wouldn't it make sense for BM to be THE top dps spec? I mean in the description of the hunter class when you are at the character creation screen it says "life long companion" and our pets are sooo useful it would make sense to buff it up. Personally when I play as MM or SV my pet is more like a nuisance who happens to bump my dps significantly. I think it would be cool for pets to start being like a character of their own instead of essentially a piece of gear that isn't attached. However, I understand why blizz has limited the BM class. When BM was still a viable spec (for raid dps) there were many vids posted on youtube of people setting up a macro for their attack sequence and binding it to as many keys as possible and then quite literally "facerolling" and being number 1 or 2 in dps in raids. I feel that buffing BM and yet keeping it balanced is a difficult task.
Jun 7th 2010 5:31PM I am still confused as to why we are moving to focus? Anyone care to explain? I'm all for trying new things but I'm nervous about my ability to adjust to a focus system. I've never enjoyed playing rogues or Dk's BECAUSE of the focus/runic system. I just hope this doesn't ruin my liking of the hunter class as it is my favorite class to play.
Jan 13th 2010 3:28AM Meh. I think there is a little bit too much QQ here. One, its still faster than the old way anyways. Two, I mean hey when u choose a class that isnt as essential or as difficult as a tank or healer this is what you get. If anything this should be influencing people to take on some more difficult roles. As weve seen pretty much anyone can lvl up a huntard, retardin, or DK to 80. So unfortunately the excellent dps-ers get pushed aside as well. So my suggestion is, grab some BoA's, roll a tank or healer, and insta-que ftw.
Dec 13th 2009 2:13PM Being a healer I'd have to say ret tanking will do just fine up until the lvl 40-ish range when you hit ZF. I'd also like to comment however that the player really makes the tank. Being specd for tanking as either a druid, pally, or warrior makes it so even the worst of tanks can still do a good job. If you really know what you are doing tanking as a ret pally, (or past lvl 55 DK) will work just fine if your healer knows what he/she is doing. As a final note: IF YOU HAVE NEVER TANKED BEFORE, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A NUB DK AND MARK THE TANK OPTION IN THE NEW LFG SYSTEM... WE WILL ALL APPRECIATE IT.
i was in a group with a blood spec DK who insisted since he was blood spec he couldn't use frost prescence and that it didn't exist. -_- needless to say I healed my arse off :P
