The Daily Blues {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2010 9:54AM Should switch silence and psychic horror. Improved psychic scream > psychic horror actually makes sense. It's not like your pve players are going to start picking up silence since most bosses are immune anyway.

Win a 10-Man Raid eyeshadow set from Geek Chic Cosmetics! {WoW}

Aug 17th 2010 2:59PM Ooooh I likey, but where is my facemelting shadowpriest black? :D

Drama Mamas: Anyone can raid {WoW}

Aug 13th 2010 11:47AM Shy should check out the videos on tankspot too. They aren't always from the same point of view that he might be coming from, but they come with helpful dialogue and tips for each fight.

Breakfast Topic: Preparing for the storm {WoW}

Mar 27th 2010 9:34AM I've been doing the same thing. Priest, druid, mage, and paladin down. Warlock and DK in the 70's and hunter and shaman in the 60's. Altoholic has been a great addon for me with it, shows me how much rested xp I have on each character, where I am on their professions, how my gold is distributed, and what's in their bags and banks.

Drama Mamas: Suicide threats {WoW}

Mar 19th 2010 11:48AM I lost someone to suicide as well and I think that saying it's a selfish act is one of the single most convincing arguments you can give to someone that's considering it. He thought that everyone's lives would be better if he were gone and that they wouldn't have to worry about all the problems and trouble that he brought. The reality was that the people who loved him saw through the problems and wanted to help even though he was shutting them out. The suicide caused more damage than any of the drugs or dealings with the police.

I think a lot of times people don't see the collateral damage that could come from it. They just see things from their own perspective and think that everyone would be better off without them, that the problems would end and everyone would be happier. It just isn't like that. Debts don't disappear with a death, they get passed on to someone else.

Reader UI of the Week: NirayĆ”'s UI {WoW}

Mar 9th 2010 4:43PM I use Bartender's paging ability to only show one bar of buttons at a time. It pages to the other bars using shift or alt. Doesn't work well if you're a clicker, I suppose, but for me it works great.

(I recently got ForteXorcist and got rid of SBF debuff timers on the side. I had them doubled up for awhile because I was lazy.)

Breakfast Topic: Breaking the bank {WoW}

Feb 16th 2010 10:15AM It's not just my bank. In my main character's bags I generally carry Benediction, Don Carlos' Famous Hat, Snowman Disguise Kit with several stacks of snowballs, and my little Love is in the Air Basket (which was great back during Hyjal between waves). You never know when you're going to have to pop out some style.

Breakfast Topic: What are you doing to protect your account? {WoW}

Jan 16th 2010 11:26AM My authenticator is still in the mail. I finally ordered one because I know so many people that have been hacked.

For the most part I've been running noscript in Firefox, and I only ever log on from my computer. A good deal of the friends I know that have been hacked logged on once to check the AH from a friend's computer without knowing the friend had clicked a keylogger at some point in time.
