WoW Moviewatch: Paladin vs. Gnomergan {WoW}

Jul 29th 2007 2:11PM The amazing thing about it is he pulls the entire instance. Have you pulled everything to Baron and solo'd him there?

Come to think of it, I should start employing this strategy when I run lowbies through deadmines.

Jul 26th 2007 9:49AM Worth a try! Enter me :)

Loot hoping, and loot whining {WoW}

Jul 19th 2007 5:59PM I understand really needing an item. Anyone in a PUG I've been in that's said "if this drops I get it" has gotten told everyone that needs it has a right to roll and if they don't like that we can replace them.

It's funny how one person claims that their time is so valuable they don't have time to run an instance and not get what they need if it drops. As though the other four people are degenerates living in their parents basement with nothing better to do than work for your loot.

Ask WoW Insider: Best DPS class? {WoW}

Jun 30th 2007 12:37AM DPS is very situational.

AOE - Mages
Sustained ranged DPS - Lock/Hunter
Sustained melee - Rogue (fury/arms wars can dish it out but they have no aggro dump)

That all being said, the "best DPS class" can suck it up on the meters due to either shitty gear or abilities.

Breakfast Topic: Do druids need a rez? {WoW}

Jun 29th 2007 1:15PM The druids that are asking for a IC rez with a reagent. I can't imagine using a 45-50s reagent to rez up an entire group. Man, the three wipe rule will turn into the two wipe rule in a hurry.

And @ whoever was talking about expensive reagents. Try being a hunter, the not-so-great bullets are 30s for a stack of 200. If I want to use the good ones their 50s a stack. In an average instance I'll go through about 1800-2000 bullets if not more.

Hearing voices in the World of Warcraft {WoW}

Jun 21st 2007 3:51PM @11 - that would be awesome... for about 10 minutes.

Get your own Ghost Saber {WoW}

Jun 21st 2007 3:49PM Are any other hunter's frustrated at the extreem leveling curve for pets? I've never had a boar before (I always favored bears for some reason). I respecced BM and realized the awesomeness of having a double stun if needed. Unfortunately, the highest level boar is 60 so I'm stuck wandering through outland with a pet 10 levels lower than me.

I take him out when I'm farming consortium rep in an effort to level him up without gimping my DPS in a raid/group setting, but it's taking forever. I can't imagine grabbing a level 20 pet and trying to get it up to 70.

Hearing voices in the World of Warcraft {WoW}

Jun 21st 2007 3:45PM I finally broke down and bought a mic (at the pestering of several guildmates). The guild already knew I was a girl, but there was a bit of shock at hearing me for the first time. My charachter name is greek and relatively difficult to pronounce or write a pronunciation for so I finally got them saying it right.

I did a heroic shattered halls run where I realized the utility. Shouting "trap broke early, pick up the square" or "I've got the square" is a lot easier than pulling my attention away to type it. Saved at least one wipe (trap broke early and went right for the healer), maybe two.
