May 7th 2011 9:02AM There was a similar post on this issue maybe a year back, and I felt sick at how many people enthusiastically replied "yes, I already do."
Serious employers, and I don't mean those ever-so-rare employers who are also enthusiastic about Warcraft, would look at your cited "leadership experience" in-game and think of all of the better things you could have done to fill up your resume.
Mar 7th 2011 9:54AM Actually, I've completely stopped playing WoW. Unless you're a hardcore raider, or you particularly love the frustration of LFG randoms, nail-gunning your cheek to a board seems more fun right about now.

Jan 30th 2011 10:16AM I absolutely do not enjoy pugs. On the rare occasions where they surprise me, I thank the group very sincerely.
I'd say 75% of the time, I get one of the following:
1. Mark-nothing-"BONZAI!"-assured-wipe tanks.
2. "You're-taking-too-much-damage-you-all-suck-'-has-left-the-group'" healers.
3. "I'll-use-DnD-as-much-as-I-want-also-check-out-how-cool-Howling-Blast-is" Death Knights.
4. "I-slapped-a-full-set-of-PVP-gear-on-just-to-get-in" DPS, and occasionally healers.
5. Doesn't-remotely-know-the-Altairus-fight .
My record for total personnel in an instance is at twelve different people, with the instance ending after a little under three hours.
I don't find any of it very fun. I've stopped playing for the time being. I've maxed out in iLevel 346 things and a few epics (oh, excepting the bracers, which drop off of Ozruk, and we know what hellacious wipe machine he is). I have no intention of raiding any time soon, so I'm sticking to Mass Effect 2. Oh Lordy, how it has taken my time away.
(Side note: I love the new instance designs, and I enjoy the personal challenge, but a thirty to forty minute wait just isn't worth it.)
Jan 25th 2011 9:56AM In the first guild I was ever in, the raid leader pronounced "Mage" (rhyming properly with rage) "Madge" (rhyming with badge). They also did that thing where they pronounced "melee" incorrectly.
My biggest pet peeve is the mix-up of "you're" and "your." I have no patience for it.
Jan 18th 2011 8:05AM My hunter stands for sadism and power. There's nothing quite like putting an explosive shot or kill shot on a boss or fellow player.
(Though, you may want I may recant on this after 4.0.6. - He may stand for qq-ing.)
Jan 11th 2011 1:35PM Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt: Engineering. The inattention they showed towards it at the beginning of Wrath (mended, in patch 3.2) followed engineering into Cataclysm its mere 22 new recipes shows a massive failure in creativity by the developers. The assignment of virtually all new and old tinkers to the belt means that every engineer (well, any non-caster) is still using Wrath era glove tinkers, and still using the nitro boosts from Wrath on their belt. That Engineering was Blizzard's lowest priority is evident in every aspect of the profession, from the fact that it was completed last to he fact that they arbitrarily made some recipes 'discoveries,' which have been quite elusive for most players. The Synapse Strings tinker hasn't been found by a good deal of players - I found it easily - too bad I'm a hunter.
That said, the new questing experience is fantastic.
Dec 20th 2010 4:58PM Tol Barad is beautiful in design, but entirely uncreative in its mechanics. In Wintergrasp, there were far more actions that needed to be executed at any given time (ex: on defense, defending southern towers, defending the train, sieging the keep, defending workshops), but in Tol Barad, its: Move. Kill. Capture. Move. Kill. Capture. It's basically Arathi Basin on crack, in a very bad way.
Dec 17th 2010 5:26AM Haha. Well, to clarify:
"...10K damage, should award a humiliating achievement (i.e. "Did something really, really stupid"), or at least should be met with its more proper reward - getting annihilated.
Unless you're particularly vindictive towards critters, the gun is useless anyhow. Even then, you'd want to be sitting on a considerable pile of gold before shooting valuable pieces of Obsidium at anything."
Dec 16th 2010 11:15PM I'm not sure why the High-Powered Bolt Gun, of all things, got nerfed. I mean, after a few years of playing an engineer, I'm immune to nerfs emotionally, but the H.P.B.G. is absolutely worthless, especially in anything like arena. In arena, taking a few seconds to set the retina, followed by a GCD, only to do a whopping
