A World of Warcraft player's guide to Final Fantasy XIV {Massively}

Sep 22nd 2010 10:27AM As a former WoW and FFXI player who hasn't kept up with news on FFXIV, I found this short guide very informative. Thanks.

Breakfast Topic: Who knew? {WoW}

Apr 22nd 2010 7:52PM When I made my first Night Elf all the NPCs kept telling me about this giant tree, how it was sick, how it was corrupted, how we had to heal it. I kept wondering when I was going to see it.I spent a lot of time looking around the starting area trying to figure out which of the huge trees was so special. It wasn't till i was sailing toward Darkshore and turned around that i realized what everyone was talking about.

Know Your Lore: Current Horde politics -- the Forsaken, page 2 {WoW}

Apr 11th 2010 10:53AM Surely game mechanics played a role, but the Forsaken are specifically the former humans of Lordaeron and the surrounding lands. If there are non-human Forsaken (like the Dark Rangers we see in Undercity now), they must be a tiny minority. There simply weren't that many non-humans living in Lordaeron at the time of the plague.

Feb 27th 2010 11:32AM "All the Human females lack junk in the trunk and have watermelons shoved down their shirts!"

Watermelons? Really? Have you ever seen a watermelon? They're pretty damn big. The human females currently in the game have pretty average sized breasts.

Breakfast Topic: The Happy Accidents {WoW}

Dec 19th 2009 11:16AM I just finished a run on RFD that I came in on half way through. I joined the group as a tank (no idea what happened to their previous tank), only to find that the other Paladin thought it was a good idea to also tank. He'd run ahead of the group and consecrate-pull, forcing me to... well... clean up after him. I was typing him a message explaining that he needed to stick to his dps role, when the hunter told him to knock it off. Didn't work, so we voted to kick him. The thing he said that stuck with me:

"I can heal and tank at the same time!" (said as he almost got us killed)
