Apr 19th 2010 10:49AM All I know is I had heard something about it, but with my coming up surgery WoW was the furthest thing from my mind. I had surgery last thursday and finally on Sunday morning felt well enough to log in, to find a mount in my email. My first assumption was spam, umm yeah no. My boyfriend does not belive in flowers, so my get well present was the horse, and yesterday he got me the pet as well. Now to really recover so I can get to playing more.
Apr 16th 2010 8:47AM I would so live the sets, one for my wonderful boyfriend and one for just out of surgery
Apr 12th 2010 8:21AM I have seen it from both sides. I was married to a WoW player long before I played, and he was addicted. He would come home from work and play WoW. I always thought how stupid to waste your life away. Now I have been playing since October of last year and can understand it.
But I find what keeps it interesting for me is the RAF first of all, my boyfriend and I have used it, but the downside is you level so fast, you do not get to see everything, so we make new characters to see other things. And that tends to keep it fresh for us. I have one level 80, and a few here and there, all that are well over 45. Some I play solo without one of his, but most we do runs together and that helps me as well, so yeah the friend benefit does help, because questing alone does suck.
Apr 4th 2010 11:21AM Well since insomnia woke both and my boyfried up at 3am our time 1am server time, we have accomplished most of the achievements already. Although I need more eggs since I am a mage for that lovely polymorph. But I find it hit or miss on Draenor. Goldshire was way more busy than just outside of Darnassus.
Apr 2nd 2010 8:12AM When I first started playing last year, we started with Horde. My boyfriend and his friend wanted to play them so we did for a bit. Then we all decided to switch to Alliance being as most of their toons were already there, so we did and I have been playing Alliance since. I think because my bf pointed out I like playing because of the pretty shiny things, that Alliance attracts me the most. But ya never know, might one day have a Horde toon.
Apr 1st 2010 9:27PM Ok to all the haters, evidently you cannot laugh at something all day. Today if anything has had me glued to the phone/computer to see what new thing they will come up with. Life is serious enough as it is, so enjoy a day of laughter. I do not see you all griping about other WoW related sites changing their name to include a yummy food item. So either laugh and come back tomorrow. Unsubscibe, because well you are acting like sticks in the mud, or just laugh with the rest of us having fun. I am personally torn though between Twilight and PvZ.
This PSA was brought to you by a former WoW widow, now turned player who umm yeah loves the game now.
Apr 1st 2010 9:05PM Sweet, and yes Adam did take your advice in the last column. I am sooooo loving this.
Feb 19th 2010 7:12PM I remember reading how people ditch Oculus, which honestly I am a pretty new player, have a level 80 toon, and the first time I fought it, yeah kind of a pain, but I actually do not mind it now. I kind of like Oculus. But I am glad they are dropping the opening dialouge, cause I get all wound up going in to get it over so I can have a chance at that drake. Hmmm.
