Aug 15th 2011 12:23PM A few suggestions to help improve Massively TV:
1. Label the videos better. Your current titles such as Live Show [Procaster] mean nothing. Instead let us know which MMO the video covers.
2. Organize videos by MMO title.
3. Improve the quality of the videos. They seem very grainy and low res.
Otherwise, I really like Massively TV.
Apr 26th 2011 11:09AM That new steed looks very tempting. With more points, it may be worth it!
Apr 26th 2011 11:08AM With my prize, I would probably get a travel or milestone skill to make it easier to get around. And that new steed looks really tempting too.
Apr 21st 2011 2:35PM New instances are great news, but I would really like Turbine to commit to an improved LFF feature. With the current LFF feature, it is very difficult to find a group.
Is anyone else interested in a better LFF feature?
Feb 14th 2011 5:06PM I agree on the voice overs - it comes across too much like modern day speech - making it sound out of place, contrived, and out of character.
I would suggest ArenaNet listen to the best voice overs in other games and better understand the qualities that make them successful.
Dec 13th 2010 12:34PM LOTRO since I have not tried DDO yet.
May 10th 2010 8:12AM RP on Steamwheedle Cartel is as dead as it gets. No RP anywhere unless you specifically join an RP Guild.
Apr 6th 2010 9:52AM I cannot stand the Draenei voices as they are obviously Russian voice overs. In fact, I had to stop playing on my Draenei character because the voices were so bothersome.
Same for Trolls, which sound like Jamaicans. Not that I have anything agains Jamaicans or Russians - I just don't want to be reminded of real life in this game world.
Surely Blizzard can come up with some better voiceovers for these two races.
Apr 5th 2010 10:49AM Odd as it sounds, I have actually become a better player without using boss mods.
Without using boss mods, I have to raise my situational awareness level and really concentrate to pick up the cues as to what is going to happen next. This heightened level of concentration helps me maximize my overall performance.
With boss mods, I find myself being a bit more lax, and not aware as I should be since I rely on the boss mod spoon-feeding me the information. As a result, I am not as "in the zone" as I should be.
So I find raiding without a boss mod to my advantage. And let me tell you that I do the most difficult content the game has to offer, and have no problems whatsoever doing the encounter without a boss mod. The built-in game has enough emotes and other warnings that a boss mod is really redundant.
So I say don't be afraid to raid without a boss mod. It is certainly possible at the highest levels, and you may be like me and find your level of play increases by your own heightened level of awareness.
Apr 1st 2010 9:39AM Icy Prisms are also a good way to make some gold, especially now since the mats have been reduced in the latest patch.
