Official Void Storage preview {WoW}

Aug 18th 2011 12:33PM I'm happy to see this feature, but sad I didn't see it before deleting my old tier sets due to lack of storage space. Duel spec druid with multiple tier sets per spec runs out of room mighty fast. At least I didn't raid in Vanilla and BC and only deleted T7, a bit of T8, T9 and T10. It hurt to do it, but I took screen shots to soften the blow.

I still have my Wildheart Raiment and many seasonal quest rewards that will finally have a nice resting spot.

Breakfast Topic: How do you deal with self-entitled puggers? {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 1:03PM I group up with three of my friends so we need only a third dps for random dungeons or heroics. This has been mostly fine with a few incidents that were quickly resolved. We had a random in Heroic Shadowfang Keep pull a group of mobs (when we zoned in) then stood back and watched as we tank/healed/dpsd them down. When asked by the healer why he didn't dps, the pug said "No funny business, slut" and we immediately vote kicked him. It was instant so I'm guessing there must be no timer on folks that get kicked a lot. We've also had a few dps that refused to zone in or just sat down and expected to be carried through. I find that folks that try that behavior don't last long.
Other than that, I've leveled a few alts recently in teams with my husband (one of us tanking and the other healing) and it pays to be generous with new players to an extent. It is hard to forgive a elemental shaman in enhancement gear who rolls need on your tank shield, but it's easy to explain why it isn't appropriate gear for them even if they "need a shield". No need to be hasty with the vote to kick when someone simply doesn't know better.

Breakfast Topic: Do you save stuff for nostalgic reasons? {WoW}

Feb 5th 2011 2:06PM I have been playing World of Warcraft for six years (to the day - it's the day after my birthday so I remember because of that), though not all the time during those six years and I have a number of characters that have been my main at one time or other and they each have different items that I can't get rid of.

I have my dungeon set one on my druid as well as some trinkets that summon assorted helpers or transform me as well as a ton of holiday outfits. I've had to systematically delete tier sets (after taking screenshots). I also have special tabards that I'm unable to replace and have to hold on to. Replaceable ones are vendored once they serve their purpose.

I rolled a paladin several months after the launch of BC (resentfully as I didn't want a BE) and levelled her prot for aoe grinding. I still have my wall of the dead, flurry axe and stockade pauldrons as well as the most awesome trinket - mark of the chosen. I also have my petrified lichen guard from Sporeggar and my level 50ish class quest trinket.

I have my class quest trinket (blessed prayer beads) on my priest as well as the tabard of the protector from the opening of the dark portal event.

I'm just glad that we "learn" pets and mounts these days as I certainly wouldn't have room for anything else.

Overall, I tend to hang onto items that are unique (can't get again as they are a one time item) or that have sentimental value.
