Jan 13th 2011 11:15AM [[Balance and feral druids can no longer cast free heals with Omen of Clarity.]]
Actually, we can. The OOC change is that *healing* spells cannot proc OOC, except for Lifebloom if specced into Malfurion's Gift. Balance spells and feral attacks can still proc OOC.
The change also does not affect how you spend OOC: you can use it on any feral ability that costs rage/energy, or any cast-time spell *including heals.*
Oct 19th 2010 4:20PM Two answers.
1. Cairne believed Hamuul, who didn't know that the attacking orcs were Twilight cultists - and already believed Garrosh capable and willing to press an attack against Alliance and/or disrupt diplomatic efforts.
2. Magatha oversees Twilight operations in Thousand Needles. This suggests that at this point, she's either a powerful member / officer in the cult, or has at least made a contract with them that serves "mutual" interests. The cult would gain the distraction of turning Horde against Alliance, and Magatha would have Garrosh as a tool to kill Cairne for her long-planned coup d'etat.
Oct 4th 2010 11:12AM I had a few levelling up my first character.
-Deciding, during the Opening of AQ event, that'd it be a good idea to mounted run between the legs of "one of those Anubis-looking things." I survived a hit at least.
-Dinging for level 62 while being attacked by several slimes (Pools of Aggonar) *and a fel reaver.*
-"I can use a DK to solo Joseph Redpath at level, and I just solo'd Hand of Kargath. I can totally solo Cruel's Intentions..." (As frost.)
Sep 20th 2010 11:13AM Also, Eclipse drops if you swing the meter to the other side, and then cast either Wrath or Starfire. If you only cast Starsurge and dots, it's possible to have both Eclipses at the same time. I'm pretty sure it's a bug.
Sep 17th 2010 6:00PM I trained insect swarm just fine, and it's actually (currently) hitting harder than live even though I have only 70% of my normal SP. (I'm using the premade Horde druid.)
Sep 17th 2010 4:36PM Yes, you get eclipse at level 10, along with starsurge.
Aug 9th 2010 8:09PM Specifically to the boomkin root-kiting Darnavan: if you use Nibelung, switch to an alternative before attempting this. The val'kyr proc is enough of a sneeze to break those roots, and reclaiming Darnavan is not the easiest thing to do after that. He won't bladestorm to break a root, but he can't be rooted (or taunted) while storming.
Jul 6th 2010 6:13PM At the same time, the more "core" information you start with, the easier your job is in general. Johnny Smith might take some work, while Johnny Bronson would be easier, and Shadynasty Riviera easier yet. Yes, this can apply to handles, but handles are at least one step removed from having the actual name. (Unless, of course, the handle is particularly distinctive.)
Outside of forming contracts, where using my IRL name is necessary, I prefer to use my pen name or handle(s) to communicate. For that reason, I don't use RID - but I haven't begrudged it due to having the option of not using it *without being denied basic features of account access,* to which I include forum access. I do begrudge the loss of the option, to any extent, and so oppose this move.
Treating forum access as part of account access, they could treat forum *discipline* as being part of account discipline. Losing a free b.net account may seem minor, but losing the unique game serials you paid for is quite another. Real consequence will stop trolls more effectively than real names will.
Jun 28th 2010 7:31PM Concerning the riders: I've gotten Unholy down on my boomchicken (Narkenian, Skywall-US.) The fact that he likes to keep his distance and use Army + diseases instead of straight fighting is quite helpful (especially with current Starfall.) Blood, I came close the last time I tried which was quite a while ago.
