Apr 2nd 2012 5:37PM And we don't even kill him, we just banish him. I can see it now - Lord Godfrey summons ghouls. Mannoroth summons the Burning Legion. All of it. Fun times. ;P
Apr 2nd 2012 5:02PM I'm sorry, Godfrey, you're a cool guy, you kill all the groups and you doesn't afraid of anything, but this is bloody Mannoroth.
Mar 27th 2012 1:47AM See, what you have to consider is that Azshara is so fucking powerful that she doesn't even think your little group of fighters (same one that killed Murozond earlier) is even worth the effort of fighting.
She literally just stands there poking fun at you and watching her servitors die to try to please her, because she can get away with that crap.
If you want it justified to you numbers-wise, it's stated during the War of the Ancients trilogy that she is far, far more powerful than Mannoroth is. Considering that his health pool is ten times the size of Murozond's and his damage output will destroy you if you aren't being protected by Illidan on magicroids, Azshara will probably wipe the floor with Murozond.
Mar 23rd 2012 9:36PM Yeah, that right there is really what I'm worried about.
I knew there was another character who had that happen to them and kinda bummed me out. Thanks for helping me remember who it was. ;)
Mar 23rd 2012 9:35PM Also, I feel obliged to mention that Jaina's looking uncharacteristically ugly in this picture.
Might just be the drowning though. :P
Mar 23rd 2012 9:31PM Well. This looks....kinda grim. That's an awfully bleak cover art for a Jaina novel. Or any WoW novel really, I mean, look at the last few for comparison. Wolfheart, just Varian looking grumpy. The Shattering, you get the Doomhammer looking firey and cool and stuff, as one does. Twilight of the Aspects was, if I remember correctly, just Thrall with some dragons.
And then this one has Jaina, a character known above all for being reasonable and nice to anyone possibly willing to return the favour, with her face scrunched up in intense pain, hair bleached white from emotional trauma, screaming out bubbles and drowning.
I really hope they don't turn Jaina into a douche. That'd be really sad.
Mar 23rd 2012 7:55PM Might I suggest you contact someone ingame to do it for you?
Mar 23rd 2012 4:58PM I recruited a friend some time back, and though various real life issues meant that he wasn't able to keep playing (and never got round to playing again), he's very interested in the SoR and would definitely accept the offer if it was made available to him.
However, the issue is, I'm pretty sure real life in all its tyranny intervened before he ran out of free game time, and as such, he hasn't actually paid any subscription fees, which I believe excludes him from eligibility.
Am I right in that the rules as they are right now make him ineligible, and if so, would it be possible to make a slight alteration to the requirements to allow RaF people who never quite made the jump to playing fully, be it because of real life issues lacklustre low level zones at the time they first played, or just being too intimidated by the perceived distance to the endgame, to have another try at playing the game?
