If you are playing said 480p video in a window and then stretch said window it'll crawl.
"Even 480p content won't play smoothly if you scale it up to too large of a window." From the Anandtech site
That sucks. I guess that narrows my choice to two items for my living room set up, an ion1 set up or a WD live box.
Feb 6th 2010 3:05AM Probably for those of us that do not have room for a full size card... I will buy this card for the low profile and HD audio support. The lack of a fan will help as well.

All those things sound great, but that's all almost software, not hardware driven... meaning that anyone with a computer and laptop could have the same experience minus the touch screen.
I will admit that thy will sell millions. I think some might be disappointed when they find out they can do more with their old netbook.
My mom, she likes steaming music while working on her spreadsheets and other AP software, so no iPad for her.
Jan 28th 2010 12:36AM My real concern is: Will it play my media not purchased from iTunes? I'm afraid the answer be "yes, with a but" or "No, however..."
Dec 28th 2009 9:15PM Target will accept returns without a receipt if it was on the registry. All you have to do is print out the purchase log, basically the list of items that were purchased off your registry and you'll get full price store credit. You could even print it out at the kiosks in the store.
Without a receipt, you can still get store credit at the lowest sale price for the item. You'll have to show your ID/DL, since they track the limit of $70/yr with it.
The best thing about Target's return policy is if you paid with a credit/debit or gift card, they can look up your purchase with a swipe of said card. If you paid with a check, they can scan the check through the register and scan the item you want to return.
Nov 30th 2009 12:39AM Still awaiting news concerning the sale of the 1201n in the US...
Nov 27th 2009 9:45PM WOOT! I want one!
Nov 9th 2009 1:37AM I'm waiting for the 1201n...
Oct 28th 2009 12:28PM I see it on sale in black and white for $549.99 at Newegg.com. The pic gallery shows it has an HDMI output.
Oct 28th 2009 4:22AM Now I'm curious how much the Asus 1201n with the 330 dual core atom and ion will run... $500-$700? I've been looking forward to something small and portable to play World of Warcraft, Call of Duty 4 and some HD videos in m2ts that will play nicely over HDMI when out of town.
