Tuesday Morning Post: There's treasure inside {WoW}

Jan 11th 2011 1:37PM Have to say the boomkin articles help a ton and keep me sane knowing others have the same issues about our state. I'm still hoping they change wild mushrooms to be a defensive spell a la, drops at your feet, blows melee 15 yards from you to get them off you, for example.

Jan 8th 2011 4:38PM Ah, I see. I thought the shift-m thing only made the map smaller when you hit the M button. (like a shortcut for the little diagonal arrow that makes the map smaller). I see now that the minimap is different, thanks.

Jan 8th 2011 3:50PM I run with the smaller map (shift+m) but in the video, there's a small box in the lower right of the screen that's semi transparent... what addon is that pls?

Jan 8th 2011 1:09PM How do you get that transparent minimap on your screen? That's just excellent.

Jan 8th 2011 1:00PM What's the name of the addon minimap that's kind of transparent in the lower right? That's awesome!

Dec 4th 2010 1:16PM WOOOOT on the starsurge fix! I actually kept hesitating on using SS when it came off cooldown b/c of it overriding a proc if I got one!

I totally agree on the solar beam bug -- it's crazy hard to keep them in the beam... sometimes it seems as if they get silenced and other times not after they come out. Especially mages, fwiw.

If they would just take Entangling Roots and Solar Beam off the GCD, THEN we'd have something. If the target was moving, we root and silence in one fell swoop. As it is right now, i have a macro set up to do them in order -- castsequence 2, roots, solar beam.

But b/c it's two GCDs, I lose a lot of time I could be dpsing and they're usually out of the beam asap to make a difference. :( I try to position myself so I can knock them back into the beam with a typhoon but as you might imagine, that's harder than it sounds to pull off.

I hardly EVER pvp in moonkin form, as I self-heal constantly in BGs. Totally want a transformation like locks or resto druids, as I just don't use my boomkin form at all. Even making it a defensive cooldown would be nice -- for example, if I popped nature's grasp on myself, I'd auto transform when I got hit for a major armor increase that's temporary. As it is right now, with 1387 resil, rogues _own_ me one on one and it's just not fun.

Aug 21st 2010 10:02AM Anyone else annoyed by having to place the treants? or is that just me. I also get annoyed that they can be feared... just doesn't seem right. We have them for such a short amount of time, they're practically completely rendered useless in BGs if a single lock is around.

Aug 21st 2010 9:39AM Great article as usual... I have two suggestions:
-- Movement eclipse -- ie if we have to run, spam moonfire till we get the bonus (the one that stacks) with its own bar -- and BAM, hit em with a starsurge that burns those stacks. We get encouraged to spend the mana to proc the bonus starsurge and the dps boost that goes with it. it doesn't affect eclipse directly, but this would be really intriguing to me, as I could see it used all the time!
-- Make Force of nature and/or wild mushrooms auto-spawn -- I don't know about you but I HATE having to place a mini-green circle on the ground instead of just having the treants spawn next to me and go to their target. Maybe an eclipse bonus could have a wild mushroom spawn at our target location but would have to be manually triggered...
