Jan 13th 2010 10:06AM Well, with a Ret Paladin t10 2pc set bonus, having a paladin throw 4-12 AoE attacks in a single GCD would steal threat off even the best tank.
Jan 11th 2010 3:43PM I recently experienced these levels with my warlock, and I tried both. Affliction seemed about three times faster, and I survived way longer due to drain life. Haunt --> UA --> CoA -- > Corruption --> Drain Life, and by the time Drain Life ended, I just drain soul'd to get my mana back. If I was fighting a single mob, I'd have full mana and health at the end, and if I was fighting two, I'd probably be a bit down in mana. Uh oh, life tap!
Either way, leveling my warlock was the most fun since my ret paladin.
Jan 11th 2010 10:17AM Why do I never see druids keybind their respective shapeshifts? As a resto druid, I have the Tree of Life shapeshift bound to Ctrl+2. Did you know that you can shapeshift while /still in the air/? Shocker.
This fight is free loot, unfortunately. It's a bit sad. I was looking forward to this, I watched videos and read strats that made it look a bit difficult, getting the transitions down. They should make it a cannon DPS race. Their rocketeers should do just as much damage as our cannons, and if we don't get the mage down fast enough the Skybreaker (or Orgrim's Hammer if you're horde) will go down, killing us all. Unfortunately, that is not the case. In my raid, we send every DPS over to the ship once the mage is up, kill her in 15 seconds, and come back. We've done I'm On a Boat in 25 man, just by having one group stay over for two mages (If you have a high avoidance tank and three good tank healers for this fight (Something you need for Festergut anyway, by the way), then the tank damage is taken care of) and the other do the same.
Buff this fight please. :(
