Mar 14th 2012 12:08PM The year 1666 was also supposed to be the end of the world according to some. There was hysteria comparable to what we have nowadays over 2012.
Oct 16th 2011 11:22PM As a developer, it completely boggles me that a company whose entire product and source of future livelihood is their code would not have off-site backups. Contrary to what some have implied, storage requirements are NOT THAT BIG for something like this, and there are a TON of ways to get cheap online storage. If security is a concern you ENCRYPT IT. It's pretty simple to automate the whole process.
I have no stake in this game, but if I did I would be pretty pissed with the devs. They're either incompetent or dishonest.
Jan 14th 2010 10:28AM The very first big kite I remember seeing was a Devilsaur tearing it up right in the middle of Crossroads, back when that was the major hub for all levels of Horde. There are videos on YouTube of people bringing the mob to Orgrimmar, but really Crossroads was a more fiendish place for it back in the day.
