Oct 21st 2011 4:24PM I have to say this.
This doesn't look like WoW.
This feels an AWFUL lot like Kung Fu Panda's world. Like seriously. They could've worked with Dreamworks and release this as the MMO for Kung Fu Panda (which would be brilliant!)
I have stopped playing WoW for over 3 months now.
Freaking pandas are making me want to play it again, not because it's new, but because it DOESN'T look like current WoW and I want to play with something that looks like my culture + Kung Fu Panda!
Jul 2nd 2011 12:41PM Technically as we are all subscribers (although I'm actually mooching on my 7 days free game time deal as I unsubbed for a while), every single player (above level 20) is paying to get gear and to kill monsters.
Also, to be honest, the game that the top-guilds are playing are of no interest to you, and they have their own reasons. Isn't it hypocritical for you to dictate what gives them joy in WoW?
Jun 24th 2011 12:11PM Warlock and Druid look like they mixed up their sets.
Jun 3rd 2011 3:42AM I was hoping the spiders would at least be different models. Guess I'll stick with the bone spiders, they seem to be the most recent/high-res of the spider models.
Jun 3rd 2011 3:40AM Your springpaw lynx is 'unique' since hardly anyone uses them. Heck, I considered running through Silvermoon to get one since lynxes (the red ones, the oranger ones can be found in Netherstorm) are rare on Alliance side.
But then I went off and found Pogeyan, who has so much more personality than Sambas (though he has nice hair). It's nice never having to run into another one and dispelling the illusion that after I tamed, it respawned a clone out there somewhere for someone else :/
May 20th 2011 7:35AM For the female gamers of WoW: "Rawr!"
May 12th 2011 5:41PM As to why a dragon turned into an avian fire-hawk thing, as with Alysrazor, it's obvious.
EVOLUTION! Dragons and dinosaurs must share a common ancestor!
May 11th 2011 1:11AM Aspect of the Fox + Steady/Cobra Shots!
The thing you have to get used to is about the facing requirement. Little trick you do with Aspect of the Fox is that only the start cast needs to be facing, then you have to be in LoS for the final attack of course, but otherwise you have that window where you can dodge behind a pillar yourself or run and jump to unleash the shot.
May 10th 2011 4:36PM It was maybe to give Druids a more defined raid role? I mean, granted, pretty much Druids were relegated to Healers in Vanilla. I don't know how actually effective they were compared to other heal classes, but the in-combat res probably helped to secure them raid spots.
May 10th 2011 4:27PM (I think the comment system ate my reply earlier...TRYING AGAIN!)
Jaina: [opening narration]
"Water... (Jaina casts Water Elemental
Earth... (Thrall summons an Earth Elemental)
Fire... (Kael'thas casts Pyroblast)
Air. (Moonkin casts Typhoon and /dance)
Long ago, the two factions lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Burning Legion attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. Several hundred years passed and Medivh and I discovered the new Avatar, an Orc slave named Thrall. And although his Shaman skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Thrall can save the world. "
Sneakpeak of the pre-Finale episode:
Kael'thas: "I am the Phoenix Ki-"
Ragnaros: "GET BACK TO TEMPEST KEEP! THIS IS MY EXPANSION NOW! AGAIN! WHATEVER!"
Alas for the live-action adaptation:
M.Night: "Every person in this movie is going to be Human. Noone can relate to a movie if they aren't all Humans. And we save money on prosthetics! Except the bad guys, the bad guys should be Gnomes."
Hapless script assistant: "But...but why Gnomes?"
M.Night: "Because...I am a Gnome."
