Feb 28th 2010 5:50PM I run Avast personal. It's free, and has "Gaming mode", which means it doesn't bother you or pop-up crap and all that. Avast is better than all that crap up there with the exception of Nod32, which I've never run but has a great reputation.
Feb 16th 2010 1:08PM To those of you trying to drag grandpa into the dysfunctional category because he pulled his gun: If you ever see a man with his hands around my mother's neck, please use any and all means at your disposal to put a stop to it (before she's dead); and I'll do the same for your mom :).
Obviously, let's don't shoot the mom in our zeal to save her, if things come to gunplay. But if you own a gun, and you're ready to pull it to protect the innocent, you already knew that right? If you don't have a clean shot to your target, you simply don't take the shot. That's like the number one rule of gun safety. It appears that Grandpa was well aware of these things, as he used deadly force, subdued the bad guy, saved the girl, happily ever after, yada yada. Perhaps because of him we are reading about some crazy dude instead of another story about the whole family killed by crazy dude who then kills himself.
Dang. The number one rule is: all guns; are always loaded; all the time. There is no such thing as an "unloaded" gun. I may have to hand my redneck card in.
Jan 4th 2010 12:14PM Well, here's a DPS that would beg you to stay with that attitude. Dungeons, especially heroic ones, are supposed to be hard. I've died before; no biggie. Perhaps cause I leveled as a resto druid I respect the hard work of healing a bit better than some. That's why I'm DPS now; I don't need that pressure.
So after your speech, I'd let you know that I'm a mean pinch healer, bring a battle res to the group, and love a good challenge. Hope you stay if we group together.
