The Queue: The olden days {WoW}

Oct 7th 2011 2:43PM I just had a thought...

Does it strike anyone else as odd how the Windrunner sisters all fell for humans?

I mean Alleria has Turalyon, Vereesa has Rhonin, and Sylvanas has the entire undead nation of Lordaeron (or to a lesser extent Apothecary Lydon because there is totally something there.)

Jul 8th 2011 5:29PM As a victim of two of "those people" I can honestly say she deserved everything she got and should really feel the way she does. Now saying that, I am impressed that she is actually trying to stop being "that person" instead of just saying it to score pity points with her victims (which I have seen far too many times.) Honestly I wish her luck in trying to build a brighter future. All you can really do when you run out of chances is to start rebuilding from rock bottom and show that you've changed.

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever been abandoned by your game friends? {WoW}

Jul 4th 2011 11:32AM I've had a lot of WoW friends leave/abandon me over the years. Some were close friends, some were practically family, one of them actually was family, there were couple that I was practically dating, and two who managed to hurt me in ways I could have never foreseen. Roughly 18 in total.

Regardless of who they were, how close I was to them or how they left, they all had two things in common with how I dealt with it. One was to try and move on and to not let it bother me. The other was to keep something in game to remind me that they were there.

Two Bosses Enter: Cataclysm Season 1 finals {WoW}

Jun 27th 2011 9:57AM I'm going to go out on a limb and say Vanessa is a fair bit smarter than Ozruk. He's a giant rock and shes the mastermind of a criminal organization with a vast knowledge of poisons. Vanessa is also quite small compared to Ozruk which does mean he can squash her like a bug but it also means she's going to be hard to hit.

Now the Elementium Spike Shield does pose a problem for Vanessa but there's no reason to think after one hit she'll learn to avoid that (it doesn't exactly last the whole fight.) But this leaves her open to the deadly Paralyze Shatter combination. Or so you would think. If Backslash is anything like Cloak of Shadows then Paralyze isn't going to do a thing and she simply avoids the Shatter.

Vanessa would probably win as long as she doesn't make a mistake.

Breakfast Topic: Is WoW inherently sexist? {WoW}

May 17th 2011 12:28PM "Guys claim to roll female characters simply for the joy of watching them from the backside"

I have heard girls use that exact same excuse for why they play male toons.

Words can not express my happiness.
