Dec 1st 2011 12:46PM There's a difference between "immortal" and "invincible."
Immortal to me usually denotes long or "neverending" life, yet they can still be struck down by things like swords and stuff.
Invincible would be that someone just cannot be killed.
Nov 30th 2011 6:14PM Nice to see some new holiday mounts that don't depend on getting lucky with drops!
Nov 8th 2011 2:35PM I started playing WoW in the last 5 months or so of BC, so I never really got to experience a lot of the end game stuff when it was still relevant. But I do remember the sense of awe and wonder I felt the first time I made a character, yes it was a blood elf, and went through the starting zone. The music, the atmosphere, the look. I was hooked.

Nov 4th 2011 11:46AM I think one of the biggest reasons people choose to play MMOs is that they have a multitude of different choices and fun things they can do. If someone's choosing to play an FPS, it's probably because they wanna shoot things. It's why I do sometimes.
For me personally, Cataclysm was a bit of a letdown, and it made me realize that without raiding, I really had nothing else to do at endgame. I don't really PVP much, and sure, I could level some more toons. But during Wrath I was logging in most of the time to raid, or to progress my character in some way that related to raiding.
I'm really looking forward to the new features announced for MoP that allows you to progress your character beyond just PVPing or raiding until your eyes bleed.
Nov 4th 2011 11:42AM I also liked the BC launcher best, if only because that's when I started playing and it's nostalgic for me.
But Blizzard spends time making these nice new launchers for us every expansion, it'd be a shame if we didn't see it, right?
But with the advent of transmog, it seems anything is possible...
Nov 4th 2011 11:14AM Like you said, PVP is definitely not for everyone. I think that it is even harder to get into than raiding for the average player. It can be so incredibly disheartening to try and do some BG's, with the aims of getting better, only to be killed at seemingly every turn, or to lose game after game after game...
Nov 4th 2011 11:10AM It's happened to me once or twice. No idea what causes it.
