I just finished up the Mountain o' Mounts achievement, so the Blue Dragonhawk is new ;) I was also convinced to join an arena team. I have pvp'd some, but I am *far* from good, so I'd never considered arena. Surprisingly, my team isn't that bad! We've gotten pwned hard, but we've also done our fair share of pwning, and are winning more than we're losing, at least. So, I now have a goal again-upgrade my pvp gear, and tweak my pvp setup. I want to win a LOT more than we lose!

I've been playing in the WHU hunters guild when I want time off. It's a surprising amount of fun to see what you can do with a low level cap-never had so much fun doing pvp!

Point-blank shot for hunters. It seems wrong that something that is actually possible in RL isn't allowed in WoW....

Agreed-waaaaay too many jumping on the ArP bandwagon b/c they heard it was top DPS. It's top DPs for extremely excellent gear and extremely skilled hunters. For the majority of hunters (and without question those primarily running heroics), Agi is going to far outweigh ArP stacking. This isn't to say ArP is useless, it's a good stat for MM hunters to have...but it's not going to be the primary stat for 95% of the hunters out there.

You don't *need* 750+ ArP to switch to MM. I switched to MM around 300 ArP, and run with an Agi build rather than an ArP build (hey Frostheim, ArP discussion would be awesome). I've found MM suits my play style better, and upped my dps enough that the hunters I run with start playing with MM themselves.
IMO, the biggest problem with SV is relying on the RPG to proc LnL (or dropping traps often and having them trigger) and then *noticing* that LnL has proc'd. It might just be me, but in the middle of a tough fight, even with addons that pop up messages that it's proc'd, I tend to miss LnL way too often.
Another advantage of MM, now that I'm at about 450 ArP, really, is the simplicity of the "rotation". Pop Serpent Sting, then Chimera, Aimed, Steady until Chimera's up again, with the occasional Arcane when running around. It lets me focus on other aspects of the fight.
I honestly think, when you're talking Agi builds, MM and SV are pretty comparable raid DPS, it's really a matter of preference. I just don't want folks to think they need insane ArP to switch

So *that's* how I got my pet on the boat, I was wondering. Good tip.

This would be perfect. It'd give some incentive to continue to run the slightly older content with those who aren't ready for Ulduar yet (yeah, there are still a few who aren't uber yet)
