Jul 4th 2010 12:06PM You mention your wife enjoys games she can leave at a moment's notice. I have to agree with that statement, especially after getting burnt out on raiding last year.
My suggestion: focus on PvP instead. Battlegrounds and Arenas and World PvP are much easier to quit when you just gotta run suddenly, and in my opinion, a lot more challenging and fun:)
Although, you mention her 'reluctant' to do BG's so this might be an uphill battle.

At the risk of sounding cynical, Blizzard wants people in guilds because it makes them stick around longer. Having a 'network of friends and comrades' gives a sense of belonging that makes the game a lot harder to walk away from. Thus, they are adding more rewards and incentives to being in a guild in order to rope in all the lone wolves out there.

I would love to see Blizzard introduce significant incentives for PVP-focused guilds in Cataclysm- like you said, the possibilities are exciting.
Mar 16th 2010 1:31PM It's awesome to read stories from older players like this! He sounds like a cool dude. That 50-60 patch can be a bit rough; it seems to be where quite a few people I know stopped playing.

Facials are pretty standard nowadays. I don't foresee much revamping done with those anytime soon.
Midgets have been having a bit of a resurgence lately, although I have a hard time getting into those ones. I think it must be the hands.
Jan 30th 2010 9:33PM I second that. Can't wait for LOST!!!
