Oct 7th 2010 10:12AM I wish they had made the Winterfin tribe a rep faction a la Sporeggar. Thought it seems so wrong I would've loved to have one of those baby murlocs as pets. They're just too adorable!

I disagree with the "hardly no one uses a Zune" comment. The Zune Pass is an incredible way to get a ton of music legally (despite the occasional snafu), and it makes a ton of sense to have it on a phone and be able to download any and all music you want wherever you may be.
That being said, the $30 price + Verizon's normal higher rates doesn't quite mesh with the whole market they seem to be after. I was under the impression they were either going after either young social butterflies, or kids with enabling parents. The price is too high for the former, and the latter would have the resources to get a full on top of the line smartphone anyways.
Apr 29th 2010 11:15AM So... it's a small space heater that doubles as a computer?

Not to mention the fact that, just before they announced WebOS their stock was hovering over $1, which is a fifth of what it is now.

You use your phone to jizz!? Okay... I use mine for, you know, talking. WebOS does get substantially more than an hour for that purpose. Maybe you lack stamina?

They strip it of its employees that were "traitors" to the company, and use their patents to destroy all.

I agree. Palm should just pay the random people who made some of those really great YouTube ads for them. It would probably be cheaper, and frankly show off the phone and OS nicely.
Apr 5th 2010 2:10AM Anyone else look at the iPad and figure that this generation at least will end up kind of like an exercise machine? Quite expensive for something you could get for free, but it has the advantage of bringing your regimen to your own home.
Some people end up using the hell out of it and benefiting fully from their purchase, yet many others will put it into a corner somewhere once the novelty wears thin. Sure they may take it out once in awhile out of guilt (you did spend the money after all), but it's kind of a hassle.
I figure that generation two will be truly revolutionary though.

Skynet will become self-aware the nanosecond it is given the prize. After all, it needs to make humanity "peaceful" does it not?

This site is called Engadget and not EnAmnish after all.
I love Sanyo Eneloops, and I hope these sell really well. I haven't bought new AA or AAA batteries in about two years now thanks to them.
