Aug 31st 2010 11:54AM This has been answered before... But all the heirloom gear that is in the game as of now will only work until level 80. There will be more heirlooms introduced in Cata that will work past level 80. And also current heirlooms will work with the new races as well.
Aug 19th 2010 11:19AM "IMO tanks are vastly underappreciated, healing is fun (and needed of course) but when it gets really bad, its up to the tank to save your bacon."
I agree with you on that point also. There have been times when after a bad pull that my group has some how made it out of the situation alive. Being the healer in about 90% of the runs I am in, I have noticed that I get the pat on the back a lot more than our tank. I always give a big grats to the tank when that happens, because with out him/her I would not even be able to do my job.
Aug 19th 2010 11:09AM I also tanked all the way through BC and until I got to 80. I never planned on dual specing until my guild needed healers for content. So I off speced resto and ended up enjoying it a lot. Fast forward a few months... We have tons of trees and no other heals, now I am almost 80 with my pally with the intention of dual specing holy just because we a) need different heals, and b) I have found that I do enjoy healing more than I ever thought I would. Sometime you would be amazed on how you will find a new play style enjoyable from having to do it out of necessity.
Jul 20th 2010 7:42PM I think something that is also really important when setting up a UI is the amount of differant characters you play. I am an altoholic, so when I chose addons I like to find ones with profile settings. It saves a lot of time setting up you UI on 10 differant characters if you can click a profile and have your base setup already there. Then all you have to do is make a couple tweeks to it for the new character. It has saved me countless hours doing it this way!
Jun 27th 2010 10:11AM My first memories of WoW was playing a temporary toon on my friends account. I had put off playing the game for a long time and had no plans on ever playing. BC had just came out and my friend was working hard to get to lvl 70. I sat down and rolled a human paladin and played for about 30 minutes when I told him I would be back in a few minutes. I went home grabed my laptop, stopped by the store and bought both vanilla and BC and spent the next 2 hour down loading the patches. When I finally got to log on to my own account it took me an hour to get my toon to look just how I wanted and to figure out a name. It was a night elf Druid. Now 4 yrs have passed and my little Druid is now horde...4 80's and countless alt and I have enjoyed the game every since!!!
Mar 1st 2010 6:41PM Question for the Queue:
I was sitting in SW the other night and was seeing people talk about having 5.5K+ gear score. I got curious and went to wow-heroes. These same people on wow-heroes didn't even have 3k gear score. So my question is, Where would they be getting their info from? Are they using add-ons that weigh GS differently than sites like wow-heroes, or are they just talking trash to be "Uber L33T"?
Main reason for this question is, my resto druid is in almost all iLvL 232 gear, and doesn't even get to a 3k gs. And I have been thinking about getting into some T9 content raids to try and build my off-set for feral. I just don't want to be kicked out before I have a chance to prove my abilities, because of a stupid factor like GS.
Jan 23rd 2010 2:35PM With season 8 quickly coming at us, I was wondering if the Relentless Gladiator sets are going to be availible for just honor, or is it going to be the Furious Gladiator sets? And how is the new Resil "FIX" going to affect this next seasons arenas?
