I realize that I am not Black08Mustang but let me reply to you in his/her place.
I hit the play button on this just like the other ones and gave it 60 to 90 seconds to gauge my reaction.
And what I can say is “bland commercial band is both bland and commercial”. After three days I am glad that we are moving on. I would in fact rather hear some variation of that horrific Rebecca Black “Friday” thing that makes me want to shove an ice pick in my skull because at least I can register some sort of reaction to it other than a vague sense of sleepiness and utter boredom which is all that these songs by Metric can seem to inspire.
So there you have it, Haters gonna hate and whatnot…
Also for those interested the only even slightly tolerable version of “Friday” which I believe was posted a while back but I can’t recall by whom below. Break out those Ice picks. :)

I am totally with you on this one. To quote Lisa Poisso “After 7 wipes, isn't it obvious that your inability to hear the strategies is a major problem?” Yes it should have been and the fact that the Raid Leader did nothing to address this clearly shows him/her to be the weak link in the chain, hell this should have been addressed by the second wipe. When a raid member types in raid chat that “I have a problem” that is when the party needs to stop pulling and solve the problem period.
Now regardless of whether the solution is “you have five min to troubleshoot and if you can’t fix it we need you to leave” or if this impromptu raid is made up of “GOGOGO!” types “you need to leave now because we don’t want to wait” it is up to the Raid Leader to address the problem before attempting to proceed with the raid. The fact that they didn’t shows incompetence on the part of the Raid Leader which is forgivable but needs to be pointed out.
If Vent isn’t telling the whole story, or is to blame for not knowing the fight, or really any other shortcoming it is STILL up to the Raid Leader to sort this out before continuing because there are (in this case) eight other raid members counting on him/her to lead them to success in this endeavor. The failure to address any issue before continuing is again incompetence on the part of the Raid Leader.
Now when we comes to the posting of an argument in guild chat by the Raid Leader and dragging this into an open guild channel, that should be a g/kick right there and sure as hell would be in my guild. I don’t care if Vent is the most obnoxious self entitled little jerkwad in the world, as an officer you do not pull that kind of childish crap. And that right there is the biggest reason why RL is in the wrong.
@ Lisa Poisso
“After 7 statements about not being in Vent, isn't it obvious that nobody particularly wants to handhold you by typing strats into raid chat?... Frankly, I don't blame the officer for blowing his stack and going off on you.”
Not only do these statements show you have no concept of what a Raid Leader is or what they should be doing but it also shows you to be the type of guild member that would be bringing unwanted drama to the rest of the guild…meaning you are in fact “That guy/gal”. I think I can safely speak for the rest of my guildies when I say we are all very glad that you are not a member of our guild because not only do we not tolerate the type of childish B.S. you seem to be ok with but your attitude would cause us to have to g/kick you in a rather short amount of time. I pity the other members of whatever guild you are a member of…hopefully they will find another guild to go to that won’t put up with the kind of behavior you seem to be defending here.
Brainard = Right
Lisa Poisso = Drama mama of a different type than advertized.

Best version of this “song” I have heard so far. Dear sir or madam you have just won one internets.

Yeah I to have noticed the steady decline in player base politeness since vanilla, I for one don’t believe that it has changed because it has become a “more popular” game but because people have ceased to care about good in game manners. At one point this year I had someone camp my skinning character to steal the skinning once I looted, even “racing” me once I did loot. When I asked why they were persisting when they knew I was a skinner and would in fact like to skin my own kills their reply was “WoW is a competitive game” really, that’s what they said. That attitude is the prime reason this will almost certainly be my last WoW expansion, the sheer level of douchebagery displayed on a daily basis (at least on my server) has sucked most of the fun out of the game for me, if this is what counts as “community” then I will happily bow out when “that” new MMO finally launches…I am down to only talking to guildies at this point anyways.

“What if they allowed valor/justice points to purchase some of these items instead of just badges?”
I would much rather they use the Argent Tournament model were one could do single player dailies to get the personal currency than instance or PvP grinds. That said an even better system would be allowing a player to choose either instance grinding, PvP marks/badges or single player dailies to grind out “currency” to purchase epic flying or other perks. This allows maximum choice to the playerbase, as you can choose the route you like best, and eliminates the need of gold for any of this stuff…two birds with one stone and whatnot.

“No. We'll never end the rickroll. We're...
Never gonna give him up
Never gonna let him down
Never gonna run around and desert him”
You sir or madam, just won.
Mar 14th 2011 4:42PM I agree with Michael on this one, skills and technique are clearly leveling up, and it is fun to watch.
Sure there are gratuitous cleavage shots but that being said I am male and the subject is “easy on the eye” as the saying goes so I don’t find it to be a problem…if that makes me a pig then, “oink”.
I think another poster summed it up best-
As Macbastard said:
“…the haters come out in force, and she pops in and gives thoughtful, polite replies to people.
She might be flaunting her assets, but she's got more class than most of the folks here trashing her.”

First I need to correct you on one thing, It’s “Time is money, friend” not “time = money” when discussing WoW, just ask any Steamwheedle Cartel Goblin in game.
On a more serious note, I find the thought of tracing and deleting gold sent from a compromised account appealing on the surface, but how would you ensure that it doesn’t end up punishing some blameless player? I would like to hear your thoughts on that; perhaps you could flesh out your concept a little further to the rest of us?

“I've no cross, other than desiring that people use appropriate arguments and logic. Sorry if I disappoint.”
Your comment “Bring on the downvotes for logical thinking. I suppose.” is your cross, saying essentially “if I am downvoted it is because people can’t handle my awesome argument and must silence me”. That sort of preemptive self-pity is practically the definition of nailing oneself on the cross.
I will however accept your apology for being so disappointing if you can first attempt to make your argument with the logic and reason you purport to use and leave out the self pity-party. So can you make your case without the self pity?
Mar 11th 2011 1:59AM @Ruth
Nah, if it gets downvoted it’s because it was poorly argued, not because of the cross you are trying to nail yourself up on…
